This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. The quality and freshness is great. The owners are nice and the young man at the counter taking orders is pleasant. The best part is they are around the corner from us. The house special wonton soup is awesome. Thanks.

Today was my first time trying this restaurant and they did not disappoint. This was the BEST chinese food I've had in a while and certainly the best across deland/deltona. I had the lunch special sweet amd sour chicken and upgraded to a shrimp roll which was PACKED with shrimp, and the BEST shrimp lo mein. I also got oramge sauce on the side. The young man up front was beyond professional and accomodating. I recently ordered from a different restaurant in deland in the plaza with ross/aldi and felt so cheated. The portion there was small and the food came up to $20. Their Orange chicken looked so pale, just a waste. New Peking, omg the food is soo good. I ate the roll so no picture. But look at this lunch special!!!!!

I’ve given this place two chances. Their food is just horrible. Not only that but they use food dyes in their dang chicken. Like who does that? Ive now wasted over 50 dollars on this place and just now had too throw away 16 dollars worth of their orange chicken. No ask for a refund just a “thank you have a nice day.” I urge everyone just to drive a little further.

Second time ordering and food was fresh and delicious. Would have given it a 5 star however the egg roll did not taste right. It was not fully.cook and had something inside that I've couldn't figure out what it was. Seem like raw ground beef or raw ground chicken. Sorry guys. I've been looking for a place.close to home NJ/NY and this place has been the closest however one will need to add notes to include the egg and bean sprout. Missing the Chinese onions. Also, the eggroll seem like it was frozen than preheated and small rounded, nothing like NY style when they were made fresh right in front of you and huge size.

For me, the best in Volusia County. They are kind people, the food is divine, and when I ask for sweet and sour red sauce, they always kindly give it to me as a gift. For me, they are the best in the county.

The food is good and pretty much always correct. The kids are friendly, and the mom seems standoffish on the phone, but in person, she's nice also. It might be a language barrier thing when she's on the phone. But the food is truly always good. I get the spared rib tip combo with white rice, and it's always just right with the sauce, and they're barely any fat, unlike other places. They also have veggie options for my veggitarian people. They make a really good broccoli in garlic sauce and their veggie delight platter is good as well. This is me and my wife's go-to Chinese spot in deltona.
This place used to be good a year ago. I know front facing employees have changed, not sure about ownership. We ordered a few months ago, poor service- answer the phone and take my order leaving the impression that I'm bothering you! Food was just ok (edible not enjoyable.) We thought it was just a one off, or so we hoped. Ordered Monday 8/12/2024, same thing with the phone, can hardly understand what she is saying let alone her vibe was as if im bothering her, no thank you or goodbye before hanging up. I pick up less than 10 minutes from ordering, both employees sat in the front watching their phone, I did get a Hello and a Thank you but still, it was weird. The food was terrible! I got the boneless spare rib combo, super dry meat and the rice was mushy. My husband got the general tso combo, same rice, chicken loaded with sauce that is wayy to spicy for the meal and the broccoli was super hard. Both eggs rolls were loaded with grease, didnt bother trying. Being a Monday evening, didn't seem busy at all but then again, this type of service/food is probably why. This place used to be packed busy previous years. We didnt eat much of the food and didnt keep the rest for leftovers as we usually do. Needless to say, we WILL NOT be visiting again!!!!! I see some good reviews on here however the bad ones are all consistent, lesson learned.

EDIT: Have to drop my stars to 3 from 5, as per DoorDash they are constantly upping their prices and lowering the food amount, they are the only Chinese joint to give only 6 dumplings for 10 bucks, not to mention their Wonton soup is the color of nuclear glowing yellow - why is THAT!? Plus the meat they use in the dumplings was.. orange! That's new and it tasted 'off' - scratching this one off my list.On one bright side, they honestly DO have the best crispy noodles, they're the only ones who deep fry them theirself.

Tried New Peking for the fist time and the family was impressed! All of the food was delicious, great flavor no issues at all! So happy to have finally given them a try and there so close to our house! If you haven't tried New Peking it is a must try, delicious good food!
