I usually don't leave reviews. I've also wanted to eat at aj's and finally have. That was the worst overpriced meal. Amberjack sandwich had a bad fishy taste. French fries were soggy and tasted of bad oil. The run of the kitchen for $42 was mainly soggy french fries. 2 very small thin pieces of fish that were ok, shrimp was good, oysters were severely burnt, scallops were so small and only about 8, clam strips the same small and few. The stuffed crab was not too bad. I left hoping I wasn't going to get sick my stomach felt like it was swimming thank God I didn't get food poisoning I really thought I had. Needless to say I will never return. Sorry for leaving a bad review but it needed to be done. I wish I was forewarned

Fresh oysters and fresh deep fried clams. Cocktails were good also~ we love coming here when we come to visit my sister~ Plus you are right at the docks where the fishing boats come in and get weighed ~ fun atmosphere 😀

These are the nicest people! My girlfriend and I stopped in for drinks after the Seaquest adventure, which I also highly recommend, I had a little too much to drink and left my phone and wallet on the bar. When we called to check if they were there, we were told they would check and call us right back. Within minutes they called back with my things, and we went back to pick them up. Not only honest, but extremely kind and helpful!

Was recommended to us by our uber driver. The gumbo and crab balls were good. I got the lobster rolls not worth $32 not much filling in a hotdog bun would not recommend these. My wife got the fish tacos did not have much flavor and the fried fish was cold. Waitress we hardly ever seen all food was brought out by kitchen staff. Very overpriced for what you get!!

I will say that AJ's is best restaurant in Destin. If I could give the food more than 5 stars, I would. The food was amazing. The server was friendly and very good at his job. He kept drinks refilled and made sure our every need was fulfilled. The atmosphere was inviting and very kid friendly. I will definitely be going back to AJ's for another great meal and experience.

My family and I I visited AJ’s 2 years ago and it was so good that we just had to go back and it didn’t disappoint. When we first arrived we did have an issue with the hostesses but the manager and our waitress made our experience epic. The food was absolutely delicious. That fish and grits is top tier and I must say it’s my favorite dish of all time from any restaurant. I most definitely recommend AJ’s.

Came to the restaurant last night at around 8pm and apparently they had just fired some hostess . The manner in which the managers were dealing with the situation is very distasteful. My wife and I felt so uncomfortable, because if that is how you speak about your employees then this company is very degrading. We had to leave !!! The managers need to be dealt with .
