Reservation for Valentine’s Day restaurant. Told it they at running 90 minutes late. That said, food was good.

Such a mixed bag of experience! We were in town for our 25th girls trip and celebrating the 60th birthday of one of our ladies. We set an open table reservation for 730p outside to catch the sunset. I called around 11 to confirm both time and location and the very nice gentleman said all set. Upon arrival we were placed in the middle of the indoor space at a table barely large enough for 2 more or less 4. We told them about the reservation and the hostess was completely rude and said no the reservation did not show outside. We stayed calm and tried to explain a couple times, very curt responses and no way they were putting us outside unless we wanted to wait over an hour, even though we could see open table options. I then thought to find the confirmation and went to Mike the GM. I respectfully showed him and he argued with me stating numerous times how it's not right, even though I was clearly showing him! He said I did Not reserve outdoors. The confirmation that I was showing him stated for outdoors. He Never apologized or took ownership of the clearly electronic issue. He kept scrolling in his system showing me as though I fabricated the confirmation! I stayed calm but stayed firm. He then showed me my supposed reservation--not even my name! I explained open table is under my husband and told him the name. Still refused to believe me, again, with and clear confirmation! I was completely frustrated and incredibly disappointed at No offer of acknowledgement or consolation at ALL, even though our party of 4 would be clearing $400+ for dinner. Well the weather turned and he apparently had some cancelations so after ALL that he Still Never apologized but came over 15ish min into our time and said they had a cancel so now they could accommodate our request--again as though we Never had reserved outside! Terrible-- Regardless we went out, he became more attentive and the waitress was adorable and amazing the entire evening so that turned things around! The food--snapper amazing, tuna to die for, filets eh ok and sides left something to be desired. Ambiance on patio, beautiful!

I'll echo the other NYE patron, this wasn't a great choice. We weren't seated until past our reserved time. Management seemed indifferent. Their lobby was packed, and it was kind of an awkward environment to wait in. Their tuna was meh. Our steaks were not cooked how requested, the asparagus was hard, everything needed salt and pepper, which was nowhere to be found, and they attempted to double charge for already over-priced cocktails.

Not a good New Years choice. Poor table management caused a 35 min wait after reservation time. Lobster was inedible but graciously replaced with a decent steak. No longer its original upscale restaurant. Food is only acceptable and nothing exceptional. How do you run out of Rye Whisky on New Years!! Overall, not worth the money. For us this was three strikes, so we won't be back.

We were there for NY Eve pre fix. Food was way over cooked and not up to there standards. Service was slow with 1 he wait with reservations. Probably over booked for the ocasion. .

Ms. Katie absolutely made our experience here! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous outside, as goes without saying, and the food was phenomenal, but the nicest aspect of our meal was Ms. Katie's attentive and lovely service. We were in need of nothing, and she was so kind and thoughtful! We will absolutely come back to enjoy the environment and fabulous service.
I Our visit to Beach Walk Café was absolutely amazing. We always enjoy coming here (gorgeous view, great food), but our server Katie made the experience just that much better. She was warm and welcoming, made sure that we were well supplied with coffee and hot water for tea, and made sure that everything was just perfect. Super excited to visit again!

loved everyone second of our visit! Our sever was wonderful and the staff is very informative as far as making suggestions for wine to talking food prep! Very quaint and quite perfect for a night out with a loved one. We will be back!

I was born and raised in this town. Destin has many great places to eat, but this place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the corner of old 98. This is a must for date night, anniversary, or just a romantic weekend get away.

Even though we experienced rain during our stay, Chef Dupas more than made up for it with some 5-star breakfasts. The views were great, the Beach Walk Cafe was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Chef Dupas created some excellent meals that were tasty and consistently good. We’ve been here before and would highly recommend a visit to the Beach Walk Cafe whether or not you are a guest at the Inn. They are always friendly and have delicious food in our experiences.

We are there for Thanksgiving and we’re amazed. The food was amazing. It was pricey but we felt like we were being treated as royalty. We are definitely coming back.
