Bitterroot does not disappoint!! Amazing and creative menu. The ambiance and service is wonderful and relaxing. We had the pleasure of dining last night and Brandon was our server. His friendly and attentive service and recommendations were greatly appreciated. We tried the nutty goat flatbread and roasted beet salad. Amazing and a must try! We ordered The Ronin and truffle Parmesan fries. The best steak and fries we have ever eaten!! The flavors and tenderness of the steak is something to slowly savor and enjoy. The fries truly complement and bring the dish together!! Worth every bite! We look forward to our next visit and the creative and innovative menu that periodically changes. Bitterroot is a true gem and a must try!!

Did a dinner date recently and was absolutely blown away! Made reservations and arrived to a elegant, upscale, candlelit-esque ambiance. Callie took great care of us and is naturally funny.
My date said the Zapata was the best cocktail she ever had (she loved the basal foam). We got 2 cocktails each, the milk N honey appetizer, encrusted filet & the short ribs with a slice of the bourbon pecan pie. We demolished everything and to our surprise it didn’t sit heavy whatsoever.
Dinner for 2 ran $200 before tip. They do charge a 3.5% card fee. Highly recommend!

We are visiting from out of town and found this cute spot. The menu was unique and had us curious. The food was full of flavors, mixing different cuisines and bringing the best out of the flavors. I had the short ribs and my husband had the wagyu burger. The drinks were also to die for. We had a special desert, can’t remember the name but it reminded me of grandma’s pie. Absolutely delicious! The service was also the best we had in the area.

Attended brunch Sunday 8/31/2025 This spot was lauded my several people for brunch in Destin - and it did not disappoint! This hidden gem might be easy to overlook given its location, however it delivers in all areas! Food is devine, chef's take on traditional dishes is remarkable and arrangement is appetizing. The service was absolutely impeccable and we were so impressed that we immediately made reservations to try their dinner menu in a couple of evenings - Bitterroot will keep you coming back!

They went above and beyond and made the moment even more special for us and for that, we are forever grateful. Also, the food was amazing as always! I called ahead and spoke with the chef to see if he could make a meal for my son who has severe food allergies to gluten, dairy, egg, and nuts. Not only did he say yes but he nailed it! My son had a green pepper crusted filet with beef fat potatoes, and green beans. He said it was delicious! I had the red snapper and vegetables which was not fishy at all and was also fantastic, and my sister had the short ribs and said they were tender and tasted great. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
