It’s a really cool little diamond in the rough restaurant. The food was spectacular and the service was incredible. Our server Mac was so lively and would joke around with us through out the whole meal.

I can't rate the food honestly beyond reading the menu, and seeing their prices. Looks and reads like the real deal, though.
Saw some impressive plates emerge.
We slid by after dinner for some craft cocktails. Wish we hadn't had that dinner.
Staff were friendly enough when they weren't working to feed the whole house. Highly skilled and knowledgeable. Excellent flavor profiles, and a decent deep barback.
Not cheap. But... cheap is more mixed drink 'Rum & Coke' vs. ab impressive cocktail that finishes for 5 minites and you can sip for well over a half hour.

Disappointed based on the rating here. With a few exceptions, the lack of execution pushes the offerings here into the overpriced territory; some of the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Not the fresh, lively farm to table experience that was expected. The service was energetic and engaged for the most part.

Amazing service by Gil! He offered GREAT food recommendations and went above and beyond in service. 11/10 recommend, will be coming back!
Went there for Christmas Eve dinner. I don't remember our servers name but he was a handsome AfricanAmerican man. The food is absolutely next level! The service is incredible too. Trying to order again before we head back because it was so good. The Foie Gras starter is one easily a top 5 dish that I've ever had. Beyond incredible. Their spiced rum cider is worth ordering by the gallon.

Both the food and the overall experience were incredible. We ended up dining here twice in one week because we couldn’t stop thinking about the food. It’s rare to find a restaurant that prioritizes high-quality ingredients and avoids seed oils, and Bitterroot truly stands out. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional—you could tell he took great pride in his work. Compliments to the chef, cooks, and entire waitstaff for an outstanding experience.

Food is very good and the ambience is lovely. The menu selections are truly culinary works of art, and the banana pudding dessert was excellent. Cocktail selection is solid, but the pours were very light. I’m no stranger to having a cocktail with dinner, and these were noticeably lighter than expected.
One small but memorable service detail: the cocoa dust on the banana pudding covered about half the bowl, and when it was brought to the table, the server had left a clear thumbprint in the cocoa dust instead of carrying the bowl on the non-dusted side. Minor, but it stood out.
We also attempted to make reservations online and were only given an 8:00 PM option, which was too late for us. We decided to walk in around 6:30 PM and were surprised to find the restaurant only about 20–25% full. Staffing didn’t appear to be an issue, so it was unclear why earlier reservations weren’t available online.
Overall, a very good experience with excellent food and atmosphere. This would have easily been five stars if not for the extremely light pours and the small service detail with dessert presentation.

Amazing spot! The short ribs were absolutely fire — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Great service, great vibe. Definitely coming back!

Underwhelming and overpriced. High expectations after being told this was a “farm to table” experience with daily changing menu. We’ve experienced farm to table meals, this was not one of them. And who pays that for a steak ?

Thid id s great restaurant in Destin tucked away in a small strip mall. A local favorite, because of it's great food and friendly staff. May have the best burger in Destin, but also have a number of very nice menau selections.

This was the first time I had ever been to Bitterroot and I have already planned my return. The service was spot on, shout out to JT! We had cocktails and wine. Great selection of wine and the cocktails were creative and matched perfectly with the food selection. I had the wagyu burger and the quality of that burger is unmatched. Every part of our experience was top notch!
Food was great! I had a salad with salmon that I’m still thinking about ‘cause it was so good! Iced tea was also extra special. Service was quick and environment was pleasant.
