This place is grungy but that’s part of what it’s known for, so understand what you’re walking into. Mac n cheese was great and so were the crab legs. Only complaint was they were out of almost all of their draft beers.

We were served oysters on the half shell that were not chilled. I bit into my 2nd one and noticed this and stopped eating them. My husband finished them and we both wound up sicker than a dog! I wound up in the emergency room and the hospital from this. Fortunately my husband who has a steel stomach was ok after two days of our vacation in the bathroom. Will never EVER go back there and will tell everyone we know not to go there!

Parking: Get there early and there’s always a spot. I’ve been there numerous times, usually on Wednesday nights from 8-11 when the Boathouse Homies Band is playing. This band is very impressive, especially with the lead quitar work by Shane Curle. He is probably the most sort after musician in Destin because he’s also playing solo gigs at many spots in Destin or Navarre 6-7 days a week. Also check out his other band, The Shane Curle Trip, playing in Destin once a week, at least

I wish the seating were more comfortable for us shorter folks near bar outside YET with the excellent music selection you'll be on your feet dancing most of the time anyway it is walking distance to the nearby sights on harbor. Conveniently located on the east end of the harbor where parking is limited, you're better off taking a cab/ride share or parking elsewhere and walking to this very locally frequented establishment... Definitely consistent service and food quality, which is a huge plus in this reviewer's preference! Been coming here at least 10 years and luv the music each night. Be sure to check out Flash Flood (mellow) and Gunner (put on your dancing sandals)!

Super dog friendly. We loved this place. All the staff is very friendly and the marina water views and fun atmosphere makes it perfect. The food is basic household cooking - nothing special. Thank you for being a top spot to eat with your pup.
