Arrived for lunch at 1:30 and told it would be a five minute wait. It was even though the table we were seated at had been open since we arrived. We were told by the servers that the lunch “special” was gone and would need to order off the regular menu. I had hot ham and cheese with a cup of potato ham cheddar soup and wife had fried shrimp with fries. My sandwich came with chips and these are nothing but a bag of lays chips. Very GENEROUS portions. This was our second trip to Callahan's, the food has always been good. This time the service left a bit to be desired. I ordered Lima beans as a side with my steak and I was served a baked potato. Several drinks were wrong or refilled incorrectly, and some salad dressings were mixed up. The food however was cooked correctly and was of good quality. We overall had a pleasant experience.
We were looking for something new for dinner and spotted Callahan's across the parking lot while shopping at another business. We looked up the menu online and fell in love. We had dinner there, and it was absolutely awesome. The food was delicious, the staff was awesome. I couldn't really ask for anything else. 10/10 I approve and Recommend.
