I have the best memories from the Candymaker. He used to make caramel taffy from the caramel leftovers. It was to die for. At his first location he would throw a piece of taffy at you when you walked in the door. We visit him every time we are in Destin.

A must visit if you want some good candy. I was over charged for jelly beans. But went back to the store and got it all sorted. The customer service was fantastic!! A great local gem!!?

Well, we ordered 6 truffles. She put them in a box and taped it. 7:03 pm, Jan 14, 2024. When we got back home, we only had 5 truffles. $25.50 + tax. $27.29. So, we were short 1 truffle. It looks like they are $4.50 each now. We actually paid $5.10 each this time.

I was very disappointed when we got there tonight, at 9:15pm and their hours changed. Google says they close at 10pm but they close at 9pm.I will definitely be making the drive back tomorrow. Giving them 5 stars because I have high hopes for this candy shop!Update: I did get to return the following day and this place has the BEST salt water taffy I've ever had! This is a must stop for salt water taffy. Don't bother going anyplace else!
