Took the whole family during spring break. Good atmosphere and food was ok, but a little pricy for some of the items. I would say the fish was the best.

Overall from adult entrees to children's menu everyone of the group of 18 was very happy. Numerous positive comments from Outstanding, excellent, fantastic and it was wonderful. I had the Cajun Reddish with Shrimp which was excellent, my wife enjoyed the Stuffed Shrimp Parmesan, both dinners included baked potato and house salad. Other main courses were Coconut Shrips and Seafood gumbo, Clam Chowder and the House salad with Grilled Mahi Mahi, Fried Shrimp dinner with fried Oakra, House salad.Sone of the kids meaks were Shrimp and fries, Cheese burger and fries, and Chicken strips with fries. Service was excellent and handled by three waiters with Cherry overall.

Do not leave here without getting the Dang Shrimp, crazy delicious! Another must is of course Grouper but even though it’s no longer on the menu, ask to have it Parmesan… very good! As well as the Twice Baked Potato ?? We liked the Key Lime Pie up to the chocolate crust? ? Wait staff may or may not be “having a good night” but that seems to be the world we’re in anymore. Cpt. Dave’s always a go-to when we come to Destin.

We had the blackened grouper which was very good and the stuffed flounder which I would not choose next time as lots of stuffing and little crab. The key lime pie is amazing and a must have! One more minor annoyance is the 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card especially given the prices they charge.

Bacon wrapped scallops, Blackened grouper, and redfish were seriously on point. Very delicious. Cole slaw fresh and delicious. Fried oysters not very good. Too small, heavily breaded. Not offering oysters in other ways,( raw, steamed, smoked), probably not a main fare here. Everything else was very good, and ambiance was really cool. Overall good dining experience. Would definitely recommend and or come again.

This was directly across from our apt at The Enclave. Prices were a little steep, but we were happy to pay as the food and service were both exceptional! We love Lisa!! Thank you for your stellar service, your recommendations, and being so knowledgeable. MUST TRY the hushpuppies and strawberry shortcake cheesecake!!! ?

Been here two years in a row. They take pride in offering things on their menu you can't find everywhere, the food is terrific, and I love the atmosphere. Especially when you first walk through the door.

Food was pretty expensive (~$35 a plate) and was very average. Honestly the food is better at a longhorn steakhouse or similar tier restaurant. The service was very polite and attentive and the restaurant itself is laid out well with plenty of seating and great ocean views. I just don't think the food warranted the price charged.Kid-friendliness: A kid friendly atmosphere with a kid's menu.

We had two meals here, and the only thing that I didn't care for was the bacon-wrapped scallops. I found the mustard-based sauce to be so overpowering that I almost couldn't taste the scallops and could barely taste the bacon. The scallops themselves were broiled to perfection. This dish could be better if the sauce were served on the side or perhaps cut with a bit of cream, as it has a nice flavor, but too much mustard and not enough maple, IMO.I also had the large coconut shrimp and orange sauce appetizer, which was both delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband had the calamari, and he said it was both tender and crisp. It was served with a generous portion of marinara. For the main, we had the Snapper Jane, which was absolutely heavenly, the parmesan shrimp, which was also excellent, and the blackened snapper. All were perfectly cooked. For sides, we had cole slaw, which my husband loved (but which I found just a tad bland), baked potato, and fries. Everything was perfectly prepared.I was stuffed to the gills, but my husband couldn't resist the combination of two of his favorite desserts: cheesecake and strawberry shortcake. He said it was very good. I tried a bite, but since cheesecake has never been a favorite of mine, it didn't impress me.I had the white Riesling, which was pretty good (take that with a grain of salt, as I am no connoisseur) and my husband had a bottle of the Beach Blonde beer, but he didn't care for its sharp aftertaste and swtiched over to his usual Yuengling afterward. Our servers both nights were very good, but Alex was a standout waiter who was both extremely competent and attentive without hovering, and he was also very personable. The restaurant was clean, pleasant, and comfortable, with a mix of customers. Beautiful views of the Gulf if you are lucky enough to snag one of the tables near the south side of the restaurant, and you can also watch the sun setting while you wait for a table if you're here at the right time of the evening/year. The lighting was adequate yet low enough to maintain a cozy and comfortable ambiance. The decor and vibe are casual (the hostess was dressed in shorts and a cropped top, most of the other staff in tees and shorts), but the food is upscale in quality, and the portions are generously-sized.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality seafood, and we'll definitely go back.
