STAY AWAY!! This place is horrible and I would avoid it like the plague, which you might get from eating here. The food is flavorless and it's awful. The fried rice looks like it is out of a box, the Mongolian beef was a crap ton of onions with very little beef. No flavor at all. The place is dirty and gross which should have been my first clue. I don't usually do reviews but, when I travel I do look for reviews on restaurants. I do feel it's important to share this experience. While the food and service was good, what really stood out, in a negative way- was when I told the server that I was missing an order of rice, she brought it to me, then started yelling loudly and angrily at an employee. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant. I literally wanted to walk out as we were dining in. They also made me feel uncomfortable when asked if we were dining in or carrying out. They seemed annoyed by our choice to dine in. I understand that there are moments of anger in a work environment, but this situation made my experience uncomfortable.

Food was hot and enjoyable but for spending over $120.. service could have been better for eating in. Plates were paper and Styrofoam there were no cups for the 2 liter we bought. Also the older lady snapped at her employees in their language about the rice portions and who was supposed to get them... its a guess.

Was a little wary to get food because of some of the reviews, but the food was actually very good. The guy was very nice and read out the order. nothing was messed up, and I would get it again the next time i’m in Destin. 10/10 recommend

China 1 is number 1! I get lunch here about once a week. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable, and the lunch special is hard to beat. Destin is a competitive arena for restaurants, but I always choose China 1. I work in vacation rentals, and when a guest asks for a good local spot, I recommend China 1 every time. Great food, friendly staff, and a clean restaurant make for a fantastic experience every time.

This place is great! The food was so good, and the service was great! The man at the counter was very nice. They give you a very good portion for the price. The atmosphere is lovely! I recommend the general tso's chicken (what I have shown in the picture). Not too spicy and very tasty!

The food is always good. I like their kung pao chicken the most. Hot and sour soup is never consistently balanced - either needs more salt or vinegar but easy to balance out at home. Egg rolls are dope. They could pack the rice into the containers more. Overall happy - I never expect takeout Chinese to be perfect - and in that way it is perfect.
