A very pleasant experience as we happened upon this place for the first time on New Years Eve. They offered a special menu that includes lobster tails and filet mignon. We dined on the lobster and chose creamed spinach as one of our sides. A fantastic choice. We were so pleased with our experience that we returned New Years Day to Iry their special brunch offering. Again very pleased. We met the owners who are intensely engaged in its operation. It's nice to patronize a place run by such enterprising owners who know how to put out great food in such a comfortable environment.

You will not be disappointed in this little hidden gem. The loaded tater and the Ms. Betty Sue southern salad were amazing and the desert was literally the icing on the cake. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I ordered different dishes to try more things. My loaded pulled pork potato was huge and filled with cheese and bacon. Sides of jalapeno, sour cream, and bbq sauce made it even better. I was only able to eat half because there was so much, but it certainly came home with me for lunch tomorrow. I ordered the jalapeno fried corn bread, and it was even better than my Tennessee mam maw's recipe. My husband ordered the Chipper burger and ate every bite of it along with the real homemade mashed potatoes. I have take home banana pudding to try later, and that will finish our meal. Chipper's BBQ is absolutely worth your time. The decor is beautiful and comfortable with a special flair. What a great couple's night for us.

My husband ordered the pull pork sandwich and I ordered the Chipper burger. We were both very pleased. The food was DELICIOUS!! The restaurant has a GORGEOUS bar that was from the 1800’s. It reminded my husband of when we visited a place in Wyoming that a bar similar to it. It is operated by a husband, wife, and their son. She was so sweet and we enjoyed talking with her. Heather was our server and could not have asked for any better. We will most definitely go back!

We love Chippers and make it a weekly visit. I get the Destiny burger every time bc it is just so good, I can’t think of ordering anything else. My husband loves the ribs. Sweet potato fries and fried cornbread are excellent. Highly recommend this place for consistent deliciousness!

I haven't had barbecue for 7 years because I've been away from the United States for a long time. this place hit all of buttons perfectly.I walk in and the kind owner greets me like I'm a member of family sits me down and gives me one of the best seats I got a corner booth.so the comfort and the Good vibes start at the very beginning.I start this feast with their exquisite sweet tea and a house selection or an amazing Whiskey on the rocks.so you're getting an idea that the service in this place is amazing you're getting all relaxed in anticipation for eating some delicious barbecue.so I couldn't decide what to eat so I ordered a plate that has brisket pulled pork ribs baked beans mac and cheese and the jalapeno cornbread.okay the stage is set now they've got some very unique barbecue sauce there they introduced me to this Alabama white barbecue sauce good Lord is that not delicious.so now the food is served and let me tell you everything tastes amazing it's like I died and gone to heaven because really it's been that long and how lucky am I to find this place in sandestin why am I here I'm here for a technical conference and I just did a Google search looking for barbecue and found this place.so for anyone reading this I'm an American living in Berlin and I came to Florida for a conference and I had a hankering for barbecue and I came to this place and it's heaven on Earth highly recommended for everything for the service for the food and actually I'm getting a Sunset View yep it's not on the beach but I'm looking out the window and I'm getting one of these amazing panhandle beautiful orange sunsets.highly recommended worth flying thousands of miles to experience.

I had a wonderful visit to this restaurant. Me and my family ordered four plates and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal the brisket was tender and the ribs were good also. The house barbecue sauce was delicious it was Finger Licking Good and by my wife's description. What made the experience even better was our waiter. I wish I could remember his name but he did excellent. We were there September the 11th around 7:00. If I can remember our waiters name I will post it later but thank you anyway.

For being a barbecue place we didn't eat anything barbecue. We had the fish tacos which were awesome and we had a salad which again was far from barbecue. The decor does not scream barbecue to me but they moved into the restaurant with a full setup so not hating on them. They didn't have to spend any money to get operated right away and the point is the food right? Food was great. I think they could rearrange the seating to accommodate people better and I might recommend using regular cups for drinks instead of the chalice's that they have. But again, maybe they got that when they moved into the space that was previously. I don't know what Italian place?! Who knows. Food is great and I would definitely go again.

They open promptly, and the restaurant is super clean and inviting. The staff is super nice and attentive. The food is very good and hot. I got mahi tacos with green beans. It was super tasty. My sister and her son got brisket nachos and Mac and cheese. My dad got a salad with chicken, and my mom got the brisket sandwich. My other sister got ribs. Mostly everyone enjoyed their food; however, the ribs were the only bust. They weren’t tender or “fall off the bone.”

WONDERFUL FATHERS DAY DINNEROur family was very pleased with our entire experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and pleasing. Our waitress was one of the owners. Her passion about the menu shined as we asked questions and she offered many suggestions. We ended up getting a variety of foods including TWO whole racks of ribs, Mr. Haydens Platter, fish tacos, loaded potatoes, and may I say one of the BEST chicken sandwiches I've ever had, EVER!! We all were happy with our choices! Thank you!!

Did some take out from chippers and it was very good. Being from the south we love our BBQ. Everything was good and the brisket was excellent. The pork sandwich I had was very tasty. Would have given it 5 stars, but we have had better. If you want BBQ, this is the best place in Destin

Friendly customer service however they were out of everything we wanted to order....ribs, steak, brisket, fried cornbread etc cetera. The cheeseburger & fried chicken sandwich and shrimp were ok...nothing fancy.The price was totally ridiculous for our order. The best part of the order was the sweet tea/lemonade.

Very expensive, tastes like Crock pot barbecue, cooked in bbq sauce. Not at all what I was expecting, I read several reviews saying how delicious it was, I strongly disagree. The restaurant was nice inside, the people friendly, but food was not good at all. I'm from Alabama, so I expect bbq to be smoked.
