Beautiful well kept resort, great heated pool and hot tub. The colder larger pool opened end of February.Units are nicely set up, the smallest is the 2 bedroom Junior suite. It has 2 full bathrooms, a bedroom with the ensuite and another bathroom was attached to a double bed bunk. This can be a 2nd bedroom by closing the door to the common area. Our 12th floor east building, even number room, had a great view of the gulf, the city and the lake/Bayou on the other side.Some units a little dated. But the whole resort is beautiful. Also has a nice gym for the tenants and a lovely restaurantWalkability: The beautiful white beaches are about 8 min walk away, across the 98 highway. They do have a free shuttle to take you within a 10min radius. But walmart and a strip mall are next door

went on a last minute trip here booked with airbnb, this place seemed a bit sketchy to me on the outside but i judged way too quickly! staff were AMAZING! and great amenities for the family. personally me i didn’t mind it wasn’t beach front but if that bothers you they do have a shuttle you can take! the place i stayed was spacious and clean, and its around many other fun stuff ! also before i end this do give the cafe a try the food was amazing !! definitely will come here again !!Rooms: clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable bedsNearby activities: restaurants and beachFood & drinks: they have a restaurant in the resort that’s not talked about enough!

A wonderful place to stay in. It's well appointed. Extremely clean and well kept ??????????Safety: Well managed , well lit, security present but not overwhelming. You feel at ease as you are walking about the grounds.Food & drinks: The food is very good. Portions are good, well seasoned, cooked to your liking. Never had a second thought on anything we've ordered. The drinks are fantastic. Many options,well thought out menus.

Property: The Palms At Destin #2-1011Checkin: December 7th, 2023I had an amazing stay at condo #2-1011 at the Palms at Destin! The unit was impeccably clean with breathtaking views, a fully equipped kitchen, Wifi & TV, and a washer and dryer which truly made my experience stress free and relaxing. Being within walking distance to the beach was a major plus, and having a cozy cafe downstairs added to the overall charm. The festive atmosphere and the delightful hot tub were the perfect finishing touches to a fantastic getaway. Highly recommend this stay and will be sure to book again!Walkability: Beach is a short walk from the room

I have waited a very long time to make this review, as my credit card company & I had to go through a lengthy dispute in order to get my money back. My husband & I rented a condo in late September to attend a friend’s wedding. To start, the day prior, we were told we were being moved condos due to a maintenance issue. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very kind, if I could separately give her 5 stars I would as she was great. However, once we got upstairs to our floor, the entire floor had a strange extremely musty smell. I will not claim mold as I didn’t see any, but the smell was terrible. Once we got to our room, the room seemed fine, if not just outdated. I do always check the beds upon arrival no matter where we go, so I did that here, and unfortunately found a bed bug. I know what I’m looking at as I’m a nurse & have taken care of patients with bed bugs before. We checked in around 9pm so unfortunately only security was available & couldn’t help us - so we left immediately to find elsewhere to stay as no one was available to assist us. The next morning I called the property management company to ask for a full refund as we didn’t stay longer than 10 minutes. My concerns were answered with a “the manager is busy on property inspections but he’ll call you back”. Five days went by before I followed up again and was given the same excuse. I ended up having to file a complaint with my credit card company in order for them to investigate the charges. I also had to separately contact the VRBO support for help as well. In 3 conversations with the property management company, I never once spoke with a manager and no one addressed my concerns at all. I was extremely upset with the response, as bed bugs are a severe concern for any future patrons. I cannot stress to you how much I do NOT recommend this company or their property.

We stayed in a private condo on the west tower. Our room was nicely appointed. Overall, the resort is in need of a little love and updating but still has everything you'd want. The main pool has plenty of seats for our October stay. My wife also enjoyed the coffee bar.
