Crystal Sands in Destin by Vacasa

Right in the beach. Ocean is bath warm.

It was very spacious. The pool view from the second floor was nice. It's was very close to the beach walking distance about 3 blocks. It's was no more than 3 miles from Walmart and other Restaurants. I'll definitely go back again!

We vacation here regularly. The condo 306A has been updated and is absolute perfection. Gorgeous ocean views, clean, close to everything. We come back every year!

Just a few feet from the beach. Super beautiful and pleasant stay, family and quiet atmosphere. Everything you need is here. Just go buy some food to cook and that's it.

Condo was bigger than I expected. Beautiful views, in a less crowded area. Convenient to everything, yet still peaceful.

Had a wonderful time at Crystal Sands. We have stayed at 4 places over 8 years of vacationing in Destin and this place was a good value for the elevator alone! My wife took our 4 mo old in the stroller every morning on her walk to Camille’s. This was MUCH easier with the elevator! We have loved staying down at Crystal Villas 6 times, but the elevator was a lifesaver with the stroller.

Great location and nice units. It’s not perfect and there’s always interior things we would prefer updated or changed, but it’s a fair value. Full warning that some unit owners pay for seasonal beach service and some dont. We stayed in 206B and there was NO chair and umbrella service included. That cost us another $300 we didn’t expect.

All in all, it we would definitely recommend!

You can survive no issues- if- IF you have no kids and very understanding adults.
Pros:1 awesome locations, polite people, easy check in, accommodation ok, safe and easy access to shopping, food, elevator, etc.beautiful beach.. beautiful condo view!!

Cons: 1. Rust! Cabinet corners had rust, water damage and dust accumulation- in bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. Even the utensils. 2. Wi-Fi- the worst! It would just stop working! 3. Bedroom door lock- it gets stuck now and then 4. The maze of the bathroom! Not to say how the BR bedroom door makes it difficult- 5. Small spaces for restroom and bathroom! Not at all comfy or suitable for beach condo!! 6 instances of panic during the stay when we thought we locked ourselves not to mention the kids going bonkers! 5. Second day we heard every step, every door close and what not from the above floor. Apologies to the ground floor who had to endure us! We tried but kids!
Ohh and the fridge had all Info but..: BUT .. condo says leave the thermostat at 74 and the check out info say 78! :( no good, I ain’t going back for this..
Unrelated to the condo - this place/town/area has the worst ever Verizon network - SOS for almost an Hour before reaching the city center and after was barely.

Headsup- Verizon network sucks in these areas and about 100-50 miles before the bridge! It’s the same there! Every now and then it will just say SOS!

Super beautiful

Excellent rental 111A. Fresh remodel, clean, and great furniture and layout. The bottom floor is best, outdoor pool is small and basic but very warm and nice when not in the mood for sand. Beach service is wonderful here. Not many shells but lots of fish, crystal clear water. Has a foot and body wash station on top of the boardwalk. Love how close it is to everything in the area. Our rental had a great kitchen setup. They need to add a cutting board was the only thing we wish it had. Large fridge and plenty of dishes. They don't allow any spices, salt, etc so you have to get all that if cooking.

Yeah....NO!! Just don't. Dirty, smelly, thin walls and hear ALL neighbors, bed sucked, dirty old stained shower curtain, shower handles about to fall out of the wall. So just don't. Don't stay here and let it ruin your vacation like it did ours. We even left a day early just to get away from the filth. Yes it is on the beach, yes it has a balcony facing the beach, but by all means clean the place up!!!! We had to get a bedsheet and put over couch just to be able to sit down. And the rug, disgusting!!!!
We will NEVER return to this location EVER!!! Much much better places to stay along the beach than this dump.
