***BEWARE*** The prices here are absolutely ridiculous for dirt cheap Mexican food and drinks that's nothing to write home about. Highway Robbery. They charged me over double for just about everything i get at other Mexican restaurants. It might say 10-20 dollars on the outdated Google listing. You will be in for a shock when you open the menu and get your bill. The service is slow, the food was overcooked. I don't see this tourist trap staying in business much longer. Good luck if you dare to eat at this place. Me and my family, friends won't darken the door step here ever again.

If you think of your typical American-Mexican slop restaurant, you've envisioned El Jalisco perfectly. Overpriced, tasteless (or maybe even worse drowned in salt) and not worth your time or money. The service was at most okay, not hostile or demeaning but an overwhelming sense of apathy.

First of all, walking in, we were treated very well. Attentive, fast service. Our server checked in on us the perfect amount. The food came out fast, hot, and correct.
Everything was delicious. I got the carnitas with green sauce (carnitas con salsa verde) and it was excellent. The environment is lovely, and they had some banging dance tracks from the 80s-90s playing. Idk about live events, but during our visit, the house music was at a good volume and everyone at the table could hear each other without yelling. Highly recommend for a meal with family.

The waiter seemed to be putting significant effort into ignoring us instead of serving us. The kids ordered queso and they brought no chips with them for almost 10 minutes. The place was not full, but the food took forever to get out. My wife told them the bathrooms were out of soap . 40 minutes later I go to men’s bathroom it’s also all out of soap still!
