Formula Fresh Superfood Bar

We loved our açaí bowls here! Giant portions and delicious superfood ingredients. We ate in the store while we explored books on the shelf and talked! The worker was so kind and helpful, and she hooked us up with extra toppings. We are going to come back here every time we're in Destin!

Vacationed in Destin and while there I happened upon Formula Fresh superfood bar … the place is adorable-very inviting and very comfortable. The staff was super friendly - fully explaining how the bowls work and willingly made a couple adjustments on the bowls my friends ordered… the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed… I ordered a Blue Almond smoothie bowl and it was sooo good. The best I’ve ever had from any place! I stopped in 2 other times while there and ordered the same bowl and the quality was consistent each time. I also tried a couple different flavors of their protein bites … part of their grab and go menu… my absolute favorite are the Lemon Blueberry Bliss bites … actually I’m obsessed❤️ When I got home it only took me a short period of time before I found them online and wrote asking if I could place an order and have them shipped to me … they did and I think I polished off that first order in record time. I’ve ordered them several times since and every time the quality has been exactly the same. They come carefully packaged and received couple of days after the order is placed. I have shared them with family and friends and they all agree they’re addictive. Needless to say I will continue to place orders and look forward to my next visit to Destin to pop in and introduce myself… and of course order a Blue Almond Smoothie Bowl It’s a must destination in Destin!❤️

I am so happy I went here on my birthday. the girls working were super friendly and personable, making me feel really welcomed. they were knowledgeable about the ingredients which is a concern for me because I avoid a lot of ingredients. I got the matcha balls. it was a beautiful start to my day.

The inside needs to be cleaned. The area with the rug and couches was dirty and desperately needed to be vacuumed. There was stuff all over the floor. The entire time I ate, I had multiple gnats (at least three) flying around me. Açaí bowls are usually pretty good but pricey. The burrata on the avocado toast wasn’t good. It wasn’t creamy at all, which tells me it was not fresh or low quality. I believe it wasn’t fresh because I didn’t feel good for the rest of the day after eating it.

Nice staff and good juice. The only reason for four stars is the price for 2 large juices cost 32 dollars.

Love this place. Huge portions of healthy goodness in a bowl. Great Acaì bowls, friendly service and dog friendly. Laura the store manager is amazing. Helped us out so much and with a smile. We can't wait to come back.

This is perfectly located and is a super cute shop in the commons. They have an amazing amount of choices and the portions are worth the price. The gals up front were super kind and helpful. We were just so pleased with this place and will be returning for sure

DELICIOUS FOOD!!! I recommend this place to everyone I know who visits. Perfect for after the beach treat or refreshing bite to eat while shopping. Lovely staff, it a great group of girls. They always brighten my day, especially these 2 sweet girls Emma and Faith. They helped me pick out the perfect açaí bowl, because I could not decide and it was amazing!! If you’re looking for a can’t spot in Destin this is the place!!!

Beautiful spot! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The girl who took our order was incredibly sweet and friendly, which added to the whole experience. We tried the ‘Be Invincible’ smoothie, which had a nice tartness but was still refreshing. We also had the “tidal wave” bowl, great flavors overall, though it was a touch too sweet for my taste. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with fresh, flavorful options, this place is worth a visit!

Formula Fresh is a usual go to spot for a healthy snack. However, today I went in around 1:05pm with zero people in line and three females working. By 1:20pm, I still didn’t have my energy bowl. When I inquired about its status, she brought it out but the other girl dropped it on the counter. After 20 minutes and still without my food, which is supposed to be a fast casual style, I requested a refund and left.

On top of it, their card machine wasn’t working. ?

I absolutely love Formula Fresh! The space is clean and inviting and the staff is incredibly friendly. Every item I’ve tried has been both nutritious and delicious. Plus, the prices are surprisingly great for the quality of food and drinks you receive. It’s the perfect spot for a healthy pick-me-up! Highly recommend!!

Not sure why this place doesn’t have better reviews, had a great experience there. We got three different bowls and toast and they were all great. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. If you’ve never been to a smoothie bowl place you might think it takes too long to get your food, but this place had our food out faster than the place in our hometown. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
