I absolutely loved my visit to Formula Fresh Superfood Bar! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was fresh, bright, and welcoming — the perfect spot for a healthy meal or snack. The menu is packed with delicious options: cold-pressed juices, superfood smoothies, hearty acai bowls, and flavorful toast and sandwich creations that are both nutritious and satisfying.
Every item we tried was bursting with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. The acai bowls were generous and filling, with a perfect blend of fruits and toppings, and the smoothies were smooth, refreshing, and just the right pick-me-up on a sunny Destin day.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy every bite. Whether you’re looking for a healthy breakfast, a refreshing juice, or a satisfying lunch, Formula Fresh is a must-visit!

Went in for a coffee with my husband. Paid for 2 americanos, and was told after that the coffee machine was broke. Was told could not do a refund and only could replace with something else. Wasn’t in the mood for anything. I had paid cash too and left a tip. Told the girls to just pay it forward to the next person so I hope they put that 9$ towards the next person and enjoy the tip for doing nothing.

This place is going to be the next one in Destin Commons closing its doors for good if management doesn’t start minding their own business (literally).
Firstly, There always seems to be something wrong with either the coffee machine or the juicer, but their machinery issues is becoming more frequent.
Secondly, I don’t care much for the staff sour faces (something that has become more common lately), except for their entitlement to receive 20% or a higher tip for their minimal effort. Just like going to a McDonald’s, I have to stand at the counter to order, and then later pick up my food. So why is tipping here even suggested, and at such high percentages?
Thirdly, the volume of whatever music is playing is too loud. Keep in mind, there are people with sensory sensitivities who will avoid places with high noise levels.
Finally, the cleanliness. Tables are always dirty and sticky. Last time I went, the place was empty (a great opportunity to wipe down and clean) but instead staff was engaged in banal conversation.
I love the healthy food options this place offers, so it saddens me seeing it decline the way it has.

I used to frequent here when I came into town. I'd even order like 4 to go and take them home to Mississippi. Going in today i got what I always used to pineapple and orange, that's it. I'm not sure if the pineapple just isn't ripe or what, but it tastes like straight orange peel. I did go back in as soon as I stepped out and took a sip. The girl did take it and add more pineapple but it's got to be unripe because it's still like straight bitter orange rind. I juice at home and that's the only thing I can think is that the fruit I happened to get was just not ripe good enough for this. The girl was polite after I came back in but for the price I hate that it's not what I wanted. Not sure I'll return......its chnaged since the last time I was here working.....I am glad I didn't order any to take home today. Bitter orange peel juice isn't the best flavor profile.

I’ve been coming for YEARS to get the protein balls. Multiple times a week! They have shrunk almost half the size they used to be and are the same price 🥲 this makes me really sad and unfortunately I don’t think ill continue supporting this business

Today I had the Avocado Bliss 🥗 and the Be Tasty Smoothie 🍓 (subbed both the Grass Fed Chocolate Whey and Collagen 💪🏾). The food was so good I forgot to take a photo. I ate it like Cookie Monster tears through cookies 🍪😂

Carrie (👑) is an absolute gem 💎 She is warm, patient, and somehow remembers every single one of my acai bowl modifications 😅 She greets me by name every time I walk in, which tells me Formula Fresh doesn’t just serve food... they serve connection. That’s rare and special. 💫

Today I also met Jada 💕 Kind, attentive, and refreshingly honest. When I asked for the exact protein grams in my smoothie, she told me a tablespoon but didn’t know the gram count. I mentioned that I’m tracking my calories and protein, and she didn’t miss a beat. Then Carrie jumped in and shared that the owner is working on adding nutritional info to the menu 📊 That kind of forward thinking is exciting!

From a brand perspective, that’s what growth looks like. Businesses that listen to their customers and adapt in real time are the ones that win. 🧠 When health-conscious spots start integrating nutrition facts and QR codes 📱 they not only empower their guests but also create opportunities to connect, gather data for newsletters, and build loyal communities. I had such a great experience at Formula Fresh! Jada and Carrie were absolutely amazing super friendly, patient, and really helpful. They took the time to help me pick the perfect smoothie and even explained the ingredients so I knew exactly what I was getting. You can tell they care about their customers and love what they do. The smoothie was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor you can really taste the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Thanks again to Jada and Carrie for making my day!

Love coming here and enjoying a fruit bowl. Great quality ingredients and taste good every time. My only feedback would be wider bowls because the tall bowls make it a little more difficult to eat out of.
