Our experience at Henderson Beach Resort was nothing short of disappointing. This resort is absolutely not worth the money, and doesn’t even closely resemble the photos posted online. The service was absolutely terrible and the beach access/view was complete bait & switch. First — let’s start with the service. Absolutely dreadful. Everyone here had such a terrible attitude, it was genuinely shocking how arrogant and snooty everyone was. I was yelled at for walking by the pool at 10:23pm when coming back from the beach — “POOL CLOSES AT 10PM CAN’T BE OUT HERE” — I’m aware!! This is the only way back from the beach!! Everyone had a total attitude and the woman we told when checking out, Brooklyn, could care less and was smirking. Didn’t offer any money back, a manager to talk to us, or ANYTHING!! We spent over $3K on this vacation and not one person seemed to care if our experience was good. We were kept up by a very loud Wedding Reception with rap music that continued well after 11pm. The room wasn’t horrible but had a musty odor and almost everything was not in working condition. The deadbolt on the front door was broken and kept getting stuck, the coffeemaker was dismantled as if a previous guest broke it, and the shower leaked an insane amount of water after we took a shower, creating a flood and slipping hazard. The TV went black every time we selected a channel. Additionally, the speaker on the phone was broken and they couldn’t hear us, and the hair dryer didn’t work either. Our room was 348. The actual beds were very mushy, but the linens weren’t terrible. Our view was pretty but NOT a “Premium Gulf View”, our view was mostly of the pool and courtyard, a random pink building that was under construction daily, and the other parts of the resort. In the very left, you could see a glimpse the beach. The walk to the beach was a winding maze that took about 20 minutes each way, and we had to pay $65 for beach chairs with exposed nails and scratchy wood surfaces. We cut ourselves on the chairs and nobody seemed to care. The Primrose Restaurant was absolutely terrible, we spent $60 on breakfast just to be ignored by our waitress Sharise and be served raw eggs. To say — we won’t be back is an understatement. I’m giving 2 stars because the man who helped us with beach equipment, Carson, was very friendly — and the hotel gym was pretty nice, with Pelotons and other nice equipment.
I made this reservation months ago for Christmas Day dinner. My husband is 100% disabled from the Veterans Administration and is retired Navy. He has a condition that requires that he take chemo every friday. Which then of course immunosuppresses him. We asked for a table that was away from other diners and a table for two on our reservation request. When we arrived there was nothing at 6:00 which was when our reservation was for. We are staying at your sister facility Henderson Park Inn. The host tried his best to seat us but it was not going to be in an ideal place so that my husband wouldn't be exposed. He got the manager Crystal and she came with an attitude! My husband explained to her as well as I that we requested this far in advance for our 6:00 p.m. reservation and that it should have been an easy thing to hold a table for two against the wall for a veteran. And yet nothing. We had to wait for a table. She also told us that she did not have to honor a request like the Henderson Park Inn did for us.
The Christmas prefix dinner was amazing. Every was delicious. The bread, the crab ball, the salads , the ribeye, the grouper, and the cake were perfectly made. Thank you for making a Christmas eve special.
Food was not good. Pork was mushy and almost all fat. Bread was the best part of the entire meal. We would not recommend. The cost was very expensive. Should have gone somewhere less expensive with better food like Osaka.
Wonderful experience first time ever there. The Christmas lights were amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. We had a phenomenal waitress the food was outstanding.
Great service and even better experience! Highly recommend!

Dined here for Thanksgiving. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and we took the opportunity to take a few family photos before dinner. We were promptly greeted after being seated and we really enjoyed our server through the evening. Very helpful and personable. Caesar salads were perfect, so fresh and dressed just right. We had the bolognese, cacio de Pepe, and spaghetti with meatballs. Pasta dishes were all terrific, pasta itself tasted home made. We were too full for desert, but would love to try that next time. Loved the different options offered by the menu, will look forward to trying other dishes on our next visit.
The food this year was very good and the guitar player was also a very nice touch for ambiance. The only item I could suggest is separating the seating with families with under age children from families with no children for a more enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving Giving!!!
Wonderful Thanksgiving experience with our family! Every detail was outstanding~ Service, food, decor, reservations. Thank you for a beautiful day with our family for Thanksgiving!
It was an awesome experience! Great decorating for the holiday I made everything feel very special and almost lavish! We felt very much in the holiday spirit. The food was amazing. The service was great and our family enjoyed deeply.

We had fun dining and it was the first time we've been here since the menu and Italian update. It didn't disappoint. Our server was wonderful, and we really had a good time.
Thank you Melissa for the Perfect Expresso Martini, old Fashion and the Prickly Pineapple were ALL Top of the Charts. We had the most enjoyable time at the bar. You are an incredible mixologist! We can not wait to return.

Delicious food and attentive service. Kitchen was a little behind, but nothing outrageous. Steaks cooked perfectly.
We had the best service and food during our stay at Henderson Beach Resort. This was our favorite dinner. Our server Milan was the BEST!
We enjoyed an anniversary meal at Primrose Coastal Italian last night. This restaurant was hard to find because it is within the Henderson Beach Resort complex, inside what appears to be an Inn with valet parking in front. Good news: we were told, after some car moving, that valet parking is free to restaurant guests. Our table on the patio was just shady and cool enough for us to enjoy eating outside after a humid summer, the pool below the patio provided a nice lapping water sound (though I'm sure it can get loud from people during the season when the pool is full). Charmed by our kind and friendly waiter, Milan - everything was bound to taste great, and it did. We had bread, mussels (best thing we ate), and shared a whole red snapper with fingerling potatoes, and a side of asparagus spears. I enjoyed an Aperol Spritz (no limoncello available for an Amalfi Spritz) and my husband enjoyed a Sazerac (fyi- husband couldn't find any beer options on the menu, there were a few cocktails and a reasonably large selection of wines). Milan treated us to dessert for our special occasion, but we were full enough that we asked for a bit of fruit instead of the rich treats on the menu and were delighted when he brought us a bowl of beautiful berries. Milan is what made the visit really special. This is nice for a special date night, and if you plan your dinner around seeing the sunset from the beach or the building's rooftop bar - it is dinner and a show. (Approx. $200 including 23% tip for 2 people sharing 2 antipasti, 1 secondo, 1 contorno, 3 drinks.)
