The overall experience was great. It wouldn't have hurt to put a few more shrimp in the boil bags. Other than that, it was really good.

Joe's Crab Shack - Destin was perfect! We got the boil in bag feast of dungenous crabs, snow crabs, and Alaskan King crab then added a lobster tail (do the lobster tail grilled for sure) it was all so yum! Service was awesome with Abby :)

The waitress got most of the order right, but then she up charged us for a drink my kid didn't order. We brought it to her attention when the bill came and she wouldn't take it off.

We chose JCS because they took reservations and we also had one in our party that didn't eat seafood and wanted chicken tenders. The service was amazing and the best part of the meal. The food was lacking and must say did not meet our “seafood at the beach” experience. I've had frozen fish, shrimp and crab legs that were better. Disappointed that we spent that much money for the quality of seafood we received. If in the area, choose something else.

We have eaten at joes forever - I'm a Landry club member. We got there and sat down - 20 minutes later a server came to the table. We ordered. My drink was wrong and my husbands was awful. She said the bartender was new - oh okay. Our food came out...never ever ever has my food come out in a plastic bag - I can go to the local Chinese crab place for that and pay a heck of a lot less. And then we check out and they don't honor my laundry's club discount. So disappointed.

We made reservations and were seated promptly, however the service was TERRIBLE. We waited 1 & 1/2 hours to get our food and our server was was rarely present. My sister's order was put in wrong so they had to remake it and she didn't even get it until everyone else was done with their food. Then, they wanted to make us pay FULL PRICE for the meal that she didn't even get to enjoy with everyone. Will not be going here again!!!

The food was great, our waitress was excellent BUT they need to work on the hostesses!!!! We ate there on 6/21/25 at 5:30. We had tried to make a reservation online beforehand and could not tell if it was working so called to see. She was flat rude and told us she could not help us. When we got there the 2 girls at the hostess station were both rude and when the one sat us at our table she was rude and even kinda rolled her eyes. Everything else was EXCELLENT!!
Food was pretty good. Emily was a great server. The manager, Lynn, was rude and unprofessional. We witnessed him mistreat his employees and was not pleasant with guests. We only came in because it was a beach day and we didnt wanted to walk from beach.. we are locals and wont be back to this tourist trap.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip! We had the most spectacular and bubbly waitress ever, Mechelle! She was so kind and attentive. She also kept the drinks coming quick and cold! The food was great but Mechelle stole the show! And one of our guest had several allergies and she not once got frustrated. She loved her job and the people around her and that positivity spread through out the restaurant. Please keep that gem around.
