I’ve honestly been thinking about my last visit to La Paz for days! Guacamole and top shelf margarita was delicious! My husband had steak fajitas and loved them. I had the surf and turf (snapper taco and bacon wrapped tamarind shrimp) it was awesome! Both the black beans and the refried beans tasted rich and homemade. I look forward to trying many things on the menu our next visit.
I had a chicken Burrito and it was good. Two other people had steak fajitas and taco salad and the steak and chicken felt and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Should have been freshly cooked and the chicken should have been shredded and not chunks as big as nuggets.
Absolutely Delicious! Best Queso I’ve ever had. Service was great, atmosphere was awesome! Will come back.. maybe even before our trip is over!

The queso dip is also a standout, and the guacamole is by far the best outside of Mexico. The fajitas, featuring generous portions of gulf shrimp and mid-range quality steak, are another popular option, and the fresh catch fajitas with Red Snapper are done perfectly. With phenomenal service from a super friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere with really cool art, La Paz is a highly recommended spot that is sure to please. It is a great Mexican food place with delicious top shelf margaritas, awesome surf and turf, and rich homemade beans.
