Not only was this restaurant well decorated with really cool art, the food was absolutely delicious! Everything we had was made to perfection and the guacamole was by far the best I've had outside of Mexico. The staff was super friendly and very efficient plus the owner (Russell) and manager (Caleb) could not have been nicer! I wish we lived in Florida because I would eat there every day!

Great Mexican food place. We had the fresh catch fajitas. Red Snapper was done perfectly. Everything thing that came with it was also very good. Great tortillas, corn, and flower. We also had the margarita, very good. Shane Curl was playing music. We asked to sit close and got a front row table. We loved listening to the blues. He is an amazing musician. If you are in Destin and want a Taco Tuesday place, you have found it!

Great place to eat and drink. Prices are reasonable. Live music on certain nights. Try to catch Shane Curle solo. You’ll love him

Went here during Hurricane Helene, and the service was okay. The server we had took a while to come to serve our food, but was nice. As for the price it’s not too bad, but for 20% gratuity for a $150 bill, is outrageous. Definitely not the worth the service we got provided.

I’ve honestly been thinking about my last visit to La Paz for days! Guacamole and top shelf margarita was delicious! My husband had steak fajitas and loved them. I had the surf and turf (snapper taco and bacon wrapped tamarind shrimp) it was awesome! Both the black beans and the refried beans tasted rich and homemade. I look forward to trying many things on the menu our next visit.
We had a gentleman serve us, totally forgot his name but he said the steak was good! He was not lying! The best steak! +Service was amazing!??

Food was adequate, rice and water had a ... dish rag after taste. Food and adult beverages were okay. Food came out quick and was prepared as ordered.

Tonight my son and I went out for dinner to Mexican which is a normal thing for us. I am new to Destin so we were looking for something like back home in Atlanta. There's Mexican everywhere. This was a little different. A little higher priced than regular Mexican restaurant so I thought that the whole experience would be worth the price. Definitely not. They didn't have enough servers to accommodate the entire restaurant. I barely saw my server the entire time I was there. We did not get utensils to eat. No napkins. The food was good, but no better than the rest of the chains. However very disappointing considering I paid $25 for a quesadilla that was the size of the saucer. I'm surprised they couldn't spare a little more tortilla on the large size to accommodate the price. My drink was a Texas Margarita 18 oz of which I paid $17 for one drink and it was in a regular glass LOL. You could have at least made it fancy. In total with appetizer My son got a chimichanga and with my quesadilla and one drink I paid $100.... That's shocking. I'm not cheap. I'm frugal, this was outrageous for just us two at a mediocre Mexican restaurant. It should not have cost us more than $60 to have dinner with one Margarita. Y'all really have to do better. Keep your prices but do something with your dishes. Make sure the food is of proportion to be charging that price. Make sure your servers are checking on your people.

Don’t understand the negative reviews. Everyone in our party liked their food. I had the steak fajita with the Hawaiian twist. It was delicious. Steak was tender and flavorful. The pineapple addition was perfect. The free chips and salsa: salsa was good, but if I had to pick something to complain about, it was the chips. They were just eh. Guacamole was good. Needed some salt, but that was fine we just added some at the table. Drinks were good and strong. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember his name! Decor was unique and interesting and created some atmosphere. Don’t listen to the negative Nellie’s: try La Paz and you won’t be disappointed.
