I had blackened fish tacos and they were awesome. Wife had fried shrimp that were huge and blackened fish it was really good! The servers were nice but we got there when they opened And there wasn't that many people there and it was just so slow. Everything else was good though. Long Island was good!

Lulu's is a tourist trap that was very overrated. You walk into a gift shop which is extremely overpriced to get to the restaurant. The website did say it was on the water but we did not realize it was completely open so it was pretty cold. The food was okay but nothing outstanding. They didn't seem to be that busy but it took way too long to get our food. My husband got the shrimp and fish gumbo and it was very watery and not that good. I got the grouper tacos which was a lot of slaw and a little fish. They advertise a bottomless cup of coffee on their menu but my husband ordered coffee and we had to wait for it to be brewed. We also were excited to have the bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert but when we ordered it we were told that they didn't have it which was extremely disappointing.

Waitress was very unfriendly, made a face when we ordered water to drink. Food took 40 minutes. Our Waitress was sweeping the floor and cleaning tables. It was one hour before closing. My food was cold when it finally came out. Not once during the 40 minute wait for food was I asked if I'd like more water or anything else.

The bartender was friendly and great, but the experience went downhill from there. After we were seated it took about 15 minutes for a waitress to even come over. Once we ordered it took over 45 minutes and talking to the manager to get food that wasn’t really hot. Waitress never came back for drink refills until we were pretty much done eating. The worst of it was that one of our group was up all night with food poisoning. Won’t be back

The food was so good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything came out hot and perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. Drinks were refreshing and well-made, exactly what you want while enjoying the Destin sunshine.
The staff really stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and they made the whole experience even better.
