The salespeople at the front are obnoxious. I went on Valentine’s Day with my mom, and they kept hounding us about where our men were, which was especially hard because my dad had just recently passed away. It was unnecessary to ask in the first place, and the salesperson wouldn’t let it go, even following us inside, until we were on the elevator going up to the restaurant. Honestly, they felt like vultures.
The food was overall disappointing. I wanted shrimp, and they said the only way they could serve it was by giving me a kids’ entrée. My mom got a chicken sandwich that was bland and overcooked. Everything was overpriced for how underwhelming the food was.
Our server was honestly annoying. Maybe he was trying too hard, but he was flirty and making jokes we weren’t in the mood for.
The only nice thing was the view, and even that wasn’t great. We were hoping to watch the pirate ship, but from the left side you can only see it for a second. When you look to the right, the building and other diners block most of it.

This place completely lacks common sense. Our server served hot water in plastic cups, and three orders were incorrect. They didn’t do anything special for a birthday. Do not bring your business here - there are many better options in Destin

Absolutely terrible. We ordered 2 of the coconut shrimp, fish, shrimp, fries combo. The plate of food was cold. The sweet potato fries were old. The fish was over cooked. $75 for this was overpriced. Charging a harbor fee is nuts. I will never have dinner there again. Might come for margaritas and chips

The view is beautiful, but be careful if you pay by credit card! They charge you an automatic 20% tip and we had already given our waitress 20%. Of course we did not know this until we checked our credit card bill. The receipt they give you does not reflect that.

Wow was the food bad. No one there NY Day and maybe staffing a challenge. Our server was very nice but the food was just terrible, took an hour to get it, drinks so ordinary for Margaritaville, we will not be back.
Jennifer did a great job recommending appetizers, cocktails & entrees. The corn fritters were fried to perfection. Our meals were generous portions and she even shared one of her homemade peppermint frosted chocolate cupcakes. Fantastic Christmas lunch.
1st visit to Margaritaville, gonna visit again. Atmosphere was what I expected. Next I'll drink more margaritas
