I recently dined with friends at the Marina Cafe. All the meals were delicious. We ordered the Sampler Dessert. It included multiple desserts that were all yummy. Cody was our waiter. He provided excellent service and made excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend dinner at the Marina Cafe.

Happy hour prices are actually appropriate for what you are receiving. The martinis were delicious, but did not have much in the way of alcohol. The burgers for $20 were dry, and way overcooked. Service was very good and the vibe was fun in the bar area. We did not go into the dining room.

So disappointed, I booked 10 months in advance for my son’s confirmation I was promised a window table. We didn’t get that we were by the back wall. We also had to wait over 30 mins for our table with a reservation. Our meals and appetizers were rushed. They brought out within minutes of each other. They charged $3 a person to cut the cake. It ended up being more than the cake cost. The service was awful the food wasn’t like it usual was. Very expensive and disappointing. We came here at least once a month. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend anyone to have a speak l occasion here.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Our server Theda was so kind and courteous. She had some amazing recommendations for appetizers and our main course as well as cocktails and dessert. This was by far one of the best dinners my wife and I have had during our vacation trips. Definitely a must try!

The staff was very friendly and on top of everything. You will never wait for assistance. The drinks are hit or miss depending on what you get, AKA the white sangria looking more like a fruit salad than tasting like one considering the amount of fruit in it. The food however was pretty mid and we partook in an assortment of things, anyways the vegetables(not including the fried green tomatoes) and sauce were the best things we had, the food for the price I would say is just decent nothing particular to ride home about.

We are locals and used to love Marina Café. It is still our go to for their happy hour in the bar area. But after last night for my daughter‘s birthday dinner, we are done visiting this restaurant. We are 25 years out in Destin and tired of the food at the tables being strictly mediocre. The prices are expected, but very high and the service was super slow unattended and when food was sent back for being cold. It was obvious they just threw it in the microwave and brought it back out 30 seconds later. When it was sent back a second time, the manager walked over and his actual comment to us was “we don’t have Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen“after that we basically told them we were locals have been there many times and would never be back because you charge the prices of Gordon Ramsay, and serve the food of no more than an average restaurant. And that’s not to mention, this was the third year we had her birthday party there and every year they have taken tables and put them all together even if they had to turn the table sideways so we had our party together. This time they sat us at two separate tables so it basically was like two separate parties. I would not normally leave a review like this on Google because I know how much it affects a business, but considering it was the manager that gave us that response, I feel like calling to complain and let them know and give them a chance to fix it would do no good!!!
Had wedding reception in the wine room and it was exceptional. Food and drinks were simply amazing and service from Cody even better. This restaurant is first class all the way and worth the cost. You won't be disappointed
