Slow service does not equal good food. Waited about 40 mins for this and its mediocre at best. It's a mostly white establishment. Very old and dusty. They need to update everything. The tables and torn and worn. Blinds are full of dust and grim. I would not try again.

Got seated really quick and then I never got waited of waiting I left and the ladies that kept telling me that someone was coming were all just standing at the bar area talking. They just looked at me leave without saying a word. And no they were not busy

Great food with good portions size. This is one of the cheapest,Best, meals we have had here in Destin. The waitress was very nice.

Did not know what to expect but was our first breakfast destination on vacation and definitely going back before we leave. The customer service was remarkable . The food was super filling and tasted delicious which made it hard to put down the silverware. If you like biscuits and gravy this is the place to get it!

This place is so quaint. I’m here with 3 hyped up kids and they are being so patient and kind with me. (Moms… they have mimosas! ?) and it’s a great place to take pictures because it has that black and white tile, old diner appeal. I came here many times with my dad before his passing, and it has not disappointed me yet. Highly suggested!

Came to Mary's Kitchen for the first time. The only thing I see they need IMPROVEMENT on is the "manager" Mary. She's VERY RUDE to everyone walking in. Two servers actually had to apologize for her behavior, said that she must just be stressed out. Well as a MANAGER she either needs to find a way to remain PROFESSIONAL and not let staff AND customers see it, or find a job working from home AWAY from the public. Advice from a consumer to the owner, do yourself, your staff AND the customers a HUGE favor and REPLACE her ASAP!!

I had fried eggs with ham and country potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were really good (baked then cut up and fried?)...crispy on outside and soft on inside. The ham had a good flavor but was a bit tough. My husband 1/2 order of sausage gravy and biscuits and a side of bacon. The half-order was quite generous. The bacon was thick and he really liked it. The waitress was friendly and fast and offered him a diet coke for the road. This is affordable comfort food in a clean and friendly setting. Mary's is very popular so get there as early as you can for breakfast. We got there right after opening and had no wait. By the time we left the place was full with people waiting outside.

The manager (dark hair, light eyes) that takes the money up front in the register is very unpleasant. I think her name was Mary. She greeted the guy in front of me and the lady in front but didn't bother saying anything to me. I will definitely not let any of my local Destin, Fort Walton Beach family eat here again. She seemed very prejudice and she made it sure to feel uncomfortable by being on her phone while I was trying to hand her the receipt.
