We try to visit McGuire’s of Destin whenever we’re close. Always enjoy. Michael Brandon was our server this time and was wonderful.
Several people recommended the pub to us. We had the .18 (yes 18 cents) Senate bean soup appetizer. My friend ordered some for take out! It was delicious and don’t tell her but rivals my mom’s ’soup beans’. We also wanted to try the Bavarian pretzel and the Reuben egg rolls. The portions are huge! We had enough for lunch the next day and still didn’t finish all of the pretzel! Service was exceptional. Highly recommended.
We had the best service from Sanjay here! The food was amazing and the atmosphere is great here! Our favorite spot to eat in Destin!

McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin is a popular restaurant known for its excellent food and friendly service. The shrimp scampi alfredo is a must-try, and they also offer vegetarian-friendly options such as Boxties. During happy hour, guests can enjoy drinks at the bar while attentive staff provide excellent service. The portions are very large, often requiring to-go boxes, and the atmosphere can be busy and lively. Steaks are made from two-week-old wet-aged prime beef and can be expensive, while the many hamburger varieties are more affordable. The molten brownie dessert is highly recommended and worth saving room for. The restaurant provides a unique experience, especially for special occasions, where enthusiastic staff make guests feel special. Visitors often find the food to be really good, and staff are friendly, keeping glasses full. The place is popular, so planning to wait is common, and there is an attached store for gifts and apparel. Customers enjoy the music and entertainment, including talented guitar players performing Irish tunes, which adds to the lively atmosphere. Despite some challenges like parking and cost, McGuire's remains a top spot in Destin for good food and friendly service.
