Mi Gente Mexican Restaurant & Cantina + Supermarket

Stopped in for take out on the way back to our Airbnb. The wait was a little too long as it took about 30 min to get an order of nachos and 3 tacos, but ended up being worth it because everything was really good. Staff was pretty friendly, but sitting in the lobby for 30 min was kind of painful. Would dine-in next time or call way ahead. There is a good selection of Mexican candy and random items in the little grocery side, with reasonable prices all around.

Our sever was great! Salsa was average. Drinks ok . We had margaritas and wine . Food was not eatable. Brought the wrong enchiladas shrimp instead of chicken that I ordered. Nothing served with it like tomato lettuce or sour cream . Quesadilla was just melted gros cheese . Melted and coagulated . Took two bites and couldn’t eat any of it. To top it off it was cold . Sent it back . Still came out cold. We know our good Mexican food .THIS IS No Bueno . We never complain but this was that Bad.

Our Valentines Day dinner was amazing!!

The cashier (Colombian) needs to take a course on customer service and friendliness to customer. She was rude and didn’t even try to help a customer trying to pay . She said “ toca esperar”. You don’t want customers to leave without payment ever! Or not coming back because you don’t feel like moving!

Clean place. Nice grocery store next door. Food was mediocre. I got cheese enchiladas and they used shredded cheese inside the tortillas and it wasn't melted. The rice was very different and not in a good way. The guacamole tasted like it was made several days ago. The tomatoes in the guac was slimy. My husband got a birria quesadilla and it had onions and cilantro in it. Everywhere else we have gone has never had those in a quesadilla, just the birria tacos. The menu also didn't mention this. My enchiladas were part of the choose your combo meal and it had lettuce and pico with it. I would have requested to not have it but the menu just stayed rice and beans. They need to be more thorough in their descriptions.

The food here was definitely not something that we expected. Considering that we have ate at the Mi Gente taqueria in Fort Walton Beach. I ordered some pupusas and let me just say they are the worst that I've ever had. I could only taste the flour, and the beans. The beans tasted very bland with no flavor. The salsa that came with chips was also a disappointment. It didn't have any flavor and it was watered down. Estoy decepcionada porque pense que la comida Iva a estar Rica pero no. No nos acavamos las pupusas y dejamos unas 2 porque nadie queria comerlas.

Good food

There is a girl with dyed blonde hair, terrible customer service, first I took some strip cookies from the store and it wasn't my fault that they were messy, however she pulled them out and said that she would tell me why she didn't have time and she was Busy was very unpleasant for me and when I went to eat with my husband and niece it was her turn to rock and I asked her for 3 non-alcoholic pina coladas and she said (it's just that I don't have time ⏱️)??and then how come she's rocking If that girl doesn't give a really good service, I will never go to that place again.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place and staff.. Food was really good my server was actually very attentive. My Fajita plate was just amazing not burned or anything bad with it.The Birria tacos so so good.

Totally recommended place to eat great food. The food is what matters 100%

That's why the restaurant is alone, there are no waiters, so nice the restaurant and the food is good but the service is slow, they just have a girl serving and the guys in the office being stupid

Cristian, plus Herman were the best at this authentic MX restaurant! WOW! What an awesome service! Drinks were the best! Food was exceptional! It’s a must try! Price ranges from $10/$20! Vegetarian options available as well. I give it a ?????
