Meh at like best. It's a sports bar with a sushi area or a sushi area with a sports bar problem. But the food was just whatever bar food

Ordered an entree and appetizer, both of which were missing a main ingredient (nachos with no queso=chips with some jalapenos). Called right away and was told by the girl who answered that she packed the order and there was queso. I told her this was incorrect so she asked the chef who told her they were out. I asked her why she said she packed it personally and she yelled "I'm not going to taste your food!" Told me to come in if I wanted it made correctly. I ordered delivery to a hotel for a reason. She told me to get me money back from the delivery company despite it being the restaurant's fault. Asked to speak to a manager and she said, "speaking" Then said no one else would be in until 11pm. Very condescending and rude. The food I actually received is satisfactory for what actually arrived.

If you are hungry for sushi and it's past 11 PM just save your money and go to Winn-Dixie or Walmart the next day because their sushi will be much better. That is said with total confusion because the Gulf of Mexico is right behind their restaurant.

? Mikado on the Destin Harbor - A Harbor Hotspot! ?⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars!Mikado is not just a sushi joint; it’s an experience on the Emerald Coast that locals, tourists, and industry folks will keep coming back to. Nestled on the Destin Harbor, this place has quickly become my go-to for a sushi fiesta and a night of unforgettable fun.? Sushi Delight: The Spicy Philly roll is a personal favorite, and to cap it off, the Mochi dessert is a must-try—absolutely delectable!? Two-in-One Vibes: Mikado has this cool split personality with the upfront bar and sushi counter flowing seamlessly into the back room turned vibrant venue after 4pm. The evening ambiance is unbeatable.? Harbor’s Hottest Hangout: This summer season is shaping up to be epic with planned events and the promise of good times. The sound and lighting equipment are top-notch, creating an atmosphere that the harbor crowd has longed for.? Rockstar Team: Shoutout to Curtis for impeccable service, John for serving up laughs along with drinks, and Chris, the spirit behind the fantastic food and drinks. The team makes you feel like a tourist every visit!?️‍♂️ Stretch It Out: Warning – Mikado may be liable for a fist bump injury; their Jenga is 25/7! Don’t worry; there’s TicTacToe for freebies, and who doesn’t love free resorts and prizes?? Kanpai to Good Times: Mikado, you’ve nailed it! Cheers to a place that’s more than just sushi – it’s an experience. Thanks for the good times!? “Kanpai” to Mikado!J.C. Schenck ?

Food was surprisingly delicious. I was a bit worried having burgers and sushi in one spot. Not sure why that is so weird to me. We had the local sushi roll and chicken hibachi. Wow hibachi is a must try. They are new and shirt staffed. Edwin the chef was so delightful as well as the sushi chef. Anyway be patient and enjoy some good food. Also ask fir the locals discount. I will support places that help us locals eat out.

We went for dinner. No one was in the restaurant when we got there. We ordered drinks and appetizers, which we got quickly. Our experience changed when our entrées came out. We waited over 30 minutes for chicken hibachi. Mine came first, the broccoli was burnt and the noodles tasted like oil. 5-10 minutes later the couple next to us got their meals before we got our second chicken hibachi. We flagged our server down and told him to forget our second order. We were tired of waiting. He insisted that it would be right out...they were making the rice. Unfortunately we continued to wait for our second order. When it finally came out, we told the guy to just throw it in a box and we left. I'm not sure what happened back in the kitchen, but we wont be back. The food was not amazing for that length of a wait and only 5 people in the restaurant.

Low key place! We sat at the bar and had good quick service. The sushi was good, not great. The crunchy tempura was definitely not like ive ever seen or had before. I had the Crab Island Roll and wasnt a fan. The eel on top had a very strong scent, and color. I had to pick it all off. We also had the Spider Roll and it was much better. I wouldnt definitely wouldnt pay 18.99 for sushi here again though. They do have alot of other things on their menu which is nice. Like that they have little games to play inside.
