Awful. Overpriced and sub-par food, slow service.3 of us on a Sat mid-afternoon and we were the only ones in restaurant. Still took 30 minutes to get our food, and 10 minutes after we were told our food was on the way and being plated.Had the Scotches burger. $19 for a dry, no-flavor hockey puck. It was thick, but the bun was much larger than the patty. The onion rings in the burger were horrible…the oil has probably not been changed in the fryer in months and had a burnt, nasty flavor where I could only take one bite. Also noticed on the bill that it was entered in as medium well, when I was not asked how I wanted it cooked.Wife and daughter both had the salmon. Small, overcooked and overpriced ($28 for a small piece of salmon, some broccoli, and no-flavor garlic mashed potatoes that my wife had to add salt and pepper to (which she never does).Never got our drinks refilled, staff came by to get the check after never asking how the food was after delivery, never cleared our plates.Save your money. Cannot believe anyone can give this place 5 stars.
First visit the staff were very friendly. The food was sadly horrible. The mashed potatoes were instant and tasteless. I had the chicken curry and it had way too many boney pieces. I don’t mean thighs with bones, it was just random s chicken parts and itty bitty bones throughout. The Mac and cheese was elbow macaroni topped with too much cheese and pools of grease. Rice and beans tasted old and dry. I love Jamaican food but this was gross. We were very disappointed but wanted to give them another try for breakfast. We came in today for breakfast. After 10 minutes of standing I went and found someone and they said we could take a seat. We found a seat and after 20 more minutes with no one taking our drinks or letting us know it would be little bit of a wait we sadly left. They seem like a kind group of people running the restaurant but we won’t be returning. We are locals and love to support locally ran businesses, but we won’t be returning and will warn others to avoid the place. I’m honestly shocked the reviews are so high. It’s very suspicious.
Great food and staff! Carlton made the most incredible drinks. Marsha, helped our group with the selection of J*** Chicken, Curry Chicken, and grilled Red Snapper! This is a hidden gem, authentic and fresh- don’t miss this restaurant.
The staff was very kind and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The breakfast menu is amazingly priced. $10 for all you can eat Pancakes is hard to beat. Out of all the Destin breakfast places it was the best. Most other breakfast places are expensive or just have food that tastes 'eh'. I will be coming back.
Food was excellent! GREAT flavor. I try oxtails any time a restaurant offers them and these were in the top. The waitress was very kind. Will be back for sure!
Drove pass this place numerous times. Today we decided to check it out, and I’m so glad that we did. Had a plate of curry goat with rice and peas and fried plantains on the side. The food was great, had to wait a little bit which we didn’t mind because it meant that the food was fresh. Wish it had a little bit more meat, but not bad at all. Definitely will return!
Went for breakfast and the food was good ? They are suffering like everyone else on short staffing! Things were a little slow but it was a staffing issue, but the food was good ?
Well done interior - nice bar. Super friendly staff. Varied menu from goat to oxtail to j*** and chili chicken. Best mashed potatoes - made me miss my mama’s cooking….??
Been here two times now. Once for brunch and tonight for dinner. Amazing food, and fantastic environment. I had the fish tacos, and my wife had the fish blackened fish sandwich. Both very savory dishes!!The mixologist, he is amazing. Mixed us up a fantastic Burbon Sour and Jack Daniel's Lemonade. Highly recommend a visit!
My husband and I have eaten here twice now & we both enjoyed the food as well as the atmosphere. We had breakfast this morning and really enjoyed that; we got good portions and the prices are very reasonable. Make sure you have the Beignets, they are fantastic!! I highly recommend giving this place a try, you won’t regret it.

A little hidden gem for a good breakfast! Service was good, food was great. The shrimp and grits were an excellent brunch item, the flavor was outstanding and one of our favorite meals during our stay in Destin. The veggie omelet and biscuits were also good, I think the biscuits were homemade, which made them that much better!
I was truly impressed with the food . Service was awsome and I will definitely be back.
This was terrible. We went during lunch hour so maybe dinner is better.Had a mix of tacos. Chicken was extremely dry like leftover chicken. Fish was just ok but on the dry side as well.Nothing interesting about the bloody mary and I'm pretty sure the vodka was leftout. Hopefully it will turn around.
Quite possibly the worst food I have ever paid money for. The shrimp tacos were so appalling I literally threw them away after just one bite. Extremely slow service. Menu is all over the place. Hate to leave a bad review, as it seems like a family-run deal, but you have to have good food to have a good restaurant. A shame, because I really wanted to like it. Hope they can pull their act together before tourist season.
We took my mother in law for her birthday dinner and we all had a very good time. The atmosphere and vibe is laid back and relaxing and the food is superb. They accommodated us with everything we needed and more. Definitely will be returning
