A friend pre ordered some cupcakes to be delivered to my address and attached my phone number to the order. I knew what time they were supposed to arrive but you get a 30min window and they weren’t there at the earliest delivery time so I figured that I’d wait for someone to knock on my door or a text message notifying me when it was delivered but got nothing. I opened my door to check 30 minutes later and it was just sitting on my door mat. Considering that they use cream cheese frosting you’d think that they’d be more vigilant on making sure they’re not just sitting out in the humid heat. These cupcakes are too expensive for that and they’re not even for me! NOTIFY your customers when it’s delivered, heck even a single knock at the door would’ve been enough!

If you have a birthday reward and wish to use it while on your vacation to Destin, make sure to use it at your preferred bakery. After driving through so much traffic, I arrived less than 10 minutes before this location closed to use my birthday reward that expired that day. I was nicely told by the cashier Ria that they couldn’t honor the coupon. Even thing the coupon doesn’t specifically state “to use at preferred location,” it does say “participating locations only.” The manager or owner did come out and explain the location’s policy which totally makes sense - someone’s preferred bakery tends to get most of that customer’s business, and the birthday reward is to reward those customers that frequently shop at that particular location. As tourists, we aren’t supporting that location as much as our home location. I do believe it would help to put a sign up stating this. There may be one, but I ran in so last minute, I could have missed it! Through my disappointment, the staff stayed friendly and helpful! I ended up buying a bundlet, and it was delicious as usual.

Completely disappointed in this stores operation! Their times are constantly different then what the internet. Ordered a cake to be picketed up for 5 knowing I would be there before closing at 7. Whelp. Nope! They apparently close at 6:30. Not what the internet says. At 6:45 the doors were locked and no answer. And now the kicker is they are closed for a holiday that isn’t even recognized as a federal holiday. Well shit. While we’re at it can I make my birthday a holiday?!?! So basically the internet’s saying the 19-25. So what is it Bunt Cakes?! Y’all closed for the whole week or just a day or too. My cake will be stale like the taste in my mouth I have for this company. Again! Get yall shit straight!

This is the worst place ever.... we come to Destin every 2 years and it happens to fall on my girlfriend's birthday and she signed up for the awards and THE OWNER HIMSELF told us that it wasn't her home location and he would have to pay for the free cake.... ... I read all the reviews after this experience and read the owner's response ... please don't respond to me because you was very rude and that response is generic and you only saying you will look into it for the readers .... so if you in Destin for your birthday DON'T COME TO THIS LOCATION .... I wanted to give this location a negative star but can't....

The family went into NBC today, but experienced something like nothing before. We were asked for our name and phone number for our order - this was something we were never asked for before and we had been here numerous times before for years. We loved coming here, but no longer! We also wanted to nibble on one of our cakes on the way home; however, we didn’t have any utensils. So, we asked if they had any- they said we don’t invite you to eat your cakes here, so no - we don’t have any here.
Personally, I will not be coming back to this establishment because of the information they requested from me. As I stood in the store, a couple of people came through- I didnt hear them request any information from them. Hmmm…

Very cute clean little shop. I heard about it from social media and just happened to drive by this one in Destin. Everyone was so friendly and helped with my choice of the raspberry. It was SO good! I’ll be back before we head home!

Did a gender reveal yesterday with a variety pack of Bundt cakes. I live out of town so I bought them and sent my mom to pick them up. The gender reveal things ( oh boy items) were not on the cakes, they just handed it all to my mom who did not know what the gender was and didn’t even seal the box. Big giant L! Will never ever recommend this place for anything ever ever ever again! The location in Destin is awful! I did a gender reveal in Jacksonville using the same company no problem. Destin SUCKS!
