PAPI’S Tacos & Burger Eatery

Great street tacos (steak and shrimp), delicious steak nachos, fresh steak burritos, tasty ground beef hard shell tacos...need we say more? We love this place, and the atmosphere and owners are terrific as well! So thankful to have this Mexican restaurant in Destin! If you haven't checked them out yet, we highly recommend!

Best breakfast around Destin - hands down! We came in and got the breakfast tacos and breakfast burritos. The Owners are very friendly, the inside is welcoming and very clean! Coming everyday I visit Destin.

Not sure how they got almost 5 stars. I ordered some chilaquiles and they were the worst chilaquiles i have ever had in my entire life im not mexican and i make better chilaquiles than this place even my husband thats originally from mexico said the food was not good. We ended up going to another restaurant named “chapala” which was authentic mexican food better than this places. Not even texas sells food as bad as this places

i got the big quesadilla with a side of queso and i can proudly say without a doubt it is the best thing that i have ever eaten. our food was ready in under 5 minutes and the service and staff were so amazing i would absolutely eat here again.

THIS IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. The whole time I was eating here with my boyfriend we kept stopping to admire how purely exquisite the meal was. By the time we had finished eating we both agreed that this is the best restaurant/food we had ever had. Not to add… food came out in 5 minutes!

We wanted to find a “local “ place to eat a good burger……..Well Papis was it and it was a PHENOMENAL burger. We also tried the pastor & asada tacos, AMAZING! Don’t miss out on this little tucked away gem of a restaurant.

I was craving a juicy delicious burger after rotting on the beach all day. This place did not disappoint. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. the owner was back there cooking and even brought out the food to us. That’s good stuff right there. I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in town. I highly recommend coming here if you either want authentic tacos or a tasty smash burger.

We were visiting Destin from Texas and found these tacos to be exactly what we were looking for! The tacos and guacamole were both exceptional! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with our selection. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Destin!

Love this place! We are visiting from Texas and very happy to find a place with great street tacos. Everything we had was amazing! Tacos, nachos, enchiladas, horchata and lemonade. Owners were really nice and the place was clean.
