I stayed in condo 910 five nights starting November 10. The condo was perfect for our stay. It is spacious, very clean, adequate towels, an entire closet of coolers, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, and beach supplies etc. The kitchen is generously stocked with everything that one needs to make a delicious meal. The view of the ocean is amazing. This complex is one of the few places that has two heated pools, one cool pool, an indoor pool, and two hot tubs. Also a teki bar and little restaurant on site and both are seasonal. The owner of the condo is very helpful and reaches out to you to make sure your stay is everything one would expect. I would definitely stay here again.

Pelican beach resort could have been an easy 5. Clean, great staff, tiki bar, multiple pools. Except the beach. People come to the ocean to sit in the sand and water. I think it’s great that you guys offer chair rentals at a high charge of $55 a day for 2. Trust me I have the money but would not spend that on 2 chairs but you guys take up the whole ocean view with the first 75 ft of your chairs. Then on top of it you say you can’t put a chair on ocean side of there chairs. First of all the states that you can put a chair by law in the water. The water line is not owned by a resort it is U.S. territory. And honestly if you guys were smart you should do 1/2 the beach line with your chairs and the other half for your guests that want to figure it out and sit in the water. Like I said could have been a 5 but got a 2 over something so silly that could easily be fixed. People come to ocean to sit and look at the ocean

Had a great time. Condo was nice and convenient to a lot of nice restaurants and also very close to rentals, the Harbour walk and crab island. Pools were not crowded and the beach was great.

As many other reviews state. This place has roaches!! They can't even pretend that it doesn't as there is cheap walmart roach spray under the sink. Not even giving the location more stars- as it would bring the overall rating up MUCH higher than it deserves.

Edited to add since we completed our stay: If you stay here- be aware that you will not have any view of the gulf from the beach. The chair rental company lines the entire beach from where the water comes in & all the way across with rental chairs & umbrellas that they open whether someone is in the seats or not. You are not permitted to sit in front of the chairs leaving you behind them & unable to see the water or your children playing.

Despite this being advertised as a non-smoking resort (even on balconies), the putrid stench of cigarettes begins every morning and lasts through late night.

I would not recommend anyone staying here. This is the only place I’ve been to that has monopolized the ocean. You can’t bring your own chairs and get close to the ocean. You have to rent theirs and the area is small. Next to it is evidently a private beach and they will ask you to leave if you put your chairs there. Do not book at pelican beach resort if you want to enjoy your vacation.

I recently stayed at Pelican Beach on the 20th floor (top floor), and the experience was incredible. From the balcony, you can take in breathtaking sunrises over the Gulf, and from the open front-side entryway, you can also watch the sunset — giving you both views in one stay. The scenery of the white sandy beaches, clear emerald waters, and the Destin skyline is unforgettable.

The resort itself is very well-kept. There are multiple pools, two hot tubs, a tiki bar, and five elevators that make getting around the building quick and easy. Parking was convenient, and the staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay.

Our unit had everything we needed and more — extras like sand toys, snorkels, body boards, and games. The kitchen was fully stocked with a blender, toaster oven, full oven and stovetop, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and two types of coffee makers. Having an in-unit washer and dryer was a huge plus as well.

The location is excellent, with Walmart just down the road and tons of restaurants, shopping, and family activities nearby.

Overall, my family and I had a fantastic time. The resort is beautiful, convenient, and family-friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

No one books a beachside resort and then expects the beachside to have been rented out to a 3rd party company. To my understanding, guests cannot use the beachside without renting chairs and umbrellas from the rental company. We were sitting on a towel at this resort we paid $$$$ to stay at and a very rude man from the rental company, dolce vita, made us move. The entry security was also using fowl language when we first arrived. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I feel scammed.
