Pepitos Mexican Restaurant

We had Pepitos cater an event we had in Destin. It was great! The food was all very tasty and the portions were overly generous. Cristy answered all my questions and was very helpful. We didn’t eat in, but it sure looked like a cute place as well.

First time at Pepito's Mexican restaurant, walking into the place was very clean, and welcoming. Service was excellent.
Now, the food was delicious and very,very fresh. The red snapper ay Diós mio! Delicioso😋😋😋
We would definitely go back again.

Pepito’s Mexican Grill & Cantina – Destin, FL

Pepito’s is an absolute gem in Destin! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The enchiladas were packed with taste and topped with just the right amount of melted cheese, while the tacos were crisp and loaded with fresh lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The sides of rice and beans complemented the meal beautifully.

The location is ideal—easy to find, with plenty of outdoor seating that makes for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience under the umbrellas. The restaurant is spotless and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Pepito’s offers everything you want in a Mexican restaurant: great food, a perfect coastal location, and outstanding facilities. Highly recommend stopping here whether you’re a local or just visiting Destin!

My wife tore her rotator cuff eating the street tacos. I’m here right now, this is not a joke. She is still eating. Her margarita is 75% gone and it’s fueling her. I’m not scared, I’ve been through this before. I have to carry her to the truck, to the hotel and into bed. I had the birria tacos and they were excellent. Her tacos looked good. I’m going to get them next. I’ll bring a wheelchair.

I chose this restaurant because other patrons said their food was authentic Mexican which is not really spicy. I had the chimichanga, it was very good. Large portion, took half home. Hubby had the margarita and even took one home for free because it was happy hour! Win!

Great food!

Tried to eat there with a service dog. Grilled on needing documents for dog. Dog clearly identified as a service dog.
Don’t go here if you bring a service dog.

We dined at the Destin location last night and it was really awesome! The restaurant is fairly casual, designed in good taste and every thing was clean and fresh. The wait staff was fabulous knowledgeable and so friendly. The drinks were great and the food was incredible! Some of the best Mexican food we've ever had, actually 😋 Thank you for a wonderful evening, Pepitos!

A long time favorite when visiting was a disappointment this past Sunday. Chips cold but replaced after asking for a replacement. Chip basket not refilled, the drinks not refilled- brother went to the bar and had his soda refilled, food came out quickly and was good. Our server after taking our order was pretty much non existent until another staff member cleared our plates, the bathrooms were very messy. This was maybe my families 10th visit at this location and we’ve always loved it- fell very very short this time. We tipped 20% begrudgingly.
