I almost never write reviews but this one deserves one. They had century years old recipes. Very healthy, very tasty. Just an amazing experience. I recommend everyone to try their tapas platter. I got falafel, hummus, babagannouj, stuffed grape leaves and a Greek salad with pitas

Just had an amazing dinner at Red Onion—easily one of the best restaurants around! The food was insanely fresh and flavorful. I loved the Mediterranean shrimp platter, and my husband’s lamb chops were perfect. We started with the babagannouj and gyro nachos—so good! The decor feels like a trip to the Mediterranean, and Chef Megan is incredible. Our server’s wine pick? Spot on. Can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful find! We are on a cross-country road trip from Washington state to the Florida Keys and have many extraordinary adventures, but dining at the Red Onion was one of the most memorable meals of the whole trip. Katie, our server, made us feel really welcome when we arrived. She gave information about menu choices and there were many things a vegetarian could choose from. The baba ganoush was the best I’ve ever tasted and it is one of my favorites so I order it a lot. The lentil soup was silky smooth and spiced perfectly. Their pita bread is so light and the baklava was to die for. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his falafel salad and baklava as well. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Destin again.

First of all, the gyro sandwich is absolutely amazing and i would recommend it to everyone who decides to visit here. Also Cati is a very very good server, took care of all of me and my familys needs and was super sweet to my children. She had great recommendations (gyro sandwich) and made sure everything went well for us. Overall it is a super chill fun restaurant that i definitely recommend yall visit and support.
Food was delicious! Ive come back twice in one week for their greek salad, fries and flavorful rice. Katie (server) was awesome! I had a seat as soon as I walked in and food was served quickly. Food is fresh and portions are big.

Stellar lamb chops with wonderfully fresh greens. Calamari with fresh pepperocini and amazing tzatziki dip! I would give another star had it not been for their poorly ventilated bathroom and server who, although pleasant enough, was very rushed (even though we were one of 2 tables) and doesn’t quite carry the etiquette and appearance that this restaurant otherwise conveys.
Parking: Almost hard to catch small alleyway that leads to more of an open parking lot behind the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs!
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-width front door and all flat surfaces within the restaurant.
