One of the most authentic Mediterranean meals I’ve had. The service was excellent. The ambience was perfect. The prices were just right. Stephanie (the chef) was obviously well-taught. I will be back!

This is a small local business worth supporting! This venue can be enjoyed for either a casual meal or a special occasion due to the environment, decor, and variety of foods offered. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and you get a portion more than worth what you pay for - they certainly will not let you leave hungry. I consistently have an excellent experience every time I eat here.

Absolutely the best food and staff that I have seen in a very long time. I was here to photograph a neighborhood dinner. Everyone left with smiles and a full tummy. Yes they have Vegetarian Options.Parking: Parking around the back. Small parking area

The food was not only very fresh but seasoned quite well. I got the gyro salad and my husband got the filet mignon salad. Both were wonderful! The Red Onion is a hidden gem on the Emerald Coast. Don't miss it!

I don't write many restaurant reviews, bc quite frankly, I just don't think about it when I'm generally not overly impressed. However, on a recent trip to Fort Walton Beach/Destin, we stopped at this restaurant the Red Onion. So glad we did! It was absolutely fantastic. The "nachos" were amazing, and my plate was delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Was tired of the usual seafood places that served everything fried.Red organic was a welcome change. Family owned, and everything is fresh and organic. We tried the chicken kabob platter, chicken tawa, hummus, baba ganouj and falafels. Loved the chicken kabob platter. The baba ganouj is made a bit different here, but liked it.

The food was delicious and the restaurant is very cute. It's a shame because this was the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. No greeting, just "are you looking for a table?". Server was extremely rude, unhelpful, and made us feel uncomfortable the whole time with her condescending tone. We felt like we were an inconvenience to her by dining here. I asked if a specific set on the menu would be enough for 2 people and she replied "I don't know how much you eat"......... as a server myself, I could think of a million ways to politely answer this question. Being kind is really not hard.

Destin is loaded with seafood places and they all have a beach theme. This place is surprisingly different. Where do you get table cloths anymore? We had the tapas player4 items and the gyro lamb and meat platter. The meats were thinly sliced, tender and nicely seasoned. The tapas had humus, grape leaves, babaganoush, and tabbouleh. For desert we had to have the baklava. There were 2 small pieces that were very good. Add on some wine and beer to complete the meal. All was beyond our expectations and the only thing I would recommend is to turn down the music as it was a little loud.

1st time eating here and it was AMAZING !!! The ambiance was very homie, inviting and calming. The service was quick & efficient but the FOOD!!! OMG!!! Soo Delicious & flavorful & the portions were more than enough & the pricing is very reasonable!!! This is definitely the spot for some very fresh organic Greek/Tapas food!!! My new favorite spot! Delicious Food, Dessert, & prices can't be beat!

Everything here was so delicious! Doesn't look like much from outside but it was one of the best meals I had on this vacation. The greek fries were insane, and so was everything they had that was more traditional. Love this place!
