The reason we vacation in Destin and at Sandpiper Cove. We love Rick’s! Best fish sandwich around and fantastic margaritas. You can’t beat the view and atmosphere. Always friendly faces and fresh food. They were open until the end of October 2022 for our late beach trip. We really appreciated that as lots of places were closed or had short hours for off season. We are looking forward to our trip this year in a few weeks and so excited to get to enjoy this gem again!
I visited Ricks on a Friday 9/8/23. My husband and I were standing at the bar area waiting to order. Literally just standing there and not saying anything. It was a Friday so it was rather busy. But we weren’t in a hurry and didn’t mind waiting. The man working the bar apparently thought we were upset about waiting. He starts a conversation with the people beside us at the bar. Ricks is our favorite part of staying on Holiday isle!! The smoked tuna dip and bang bang shrimp tacos are so good! We look forward to this place every year. It's so convenient for lunch or drinks while on the beach and the service is always quick.
