Absolutely delicious. I had the Costa Rican breakfast. It was gone in an instant. Not because it was a small plate. My wife had the BYO ohmlet with home fries. It came with a biscuit and came butter. Beware, that butter is the BEST I've ever tasted. My new favorite breakfast place! Ask for Mary's seating area. She's the best!

Amazing Place! So, here is an honest review from a non-local (aka tourist) from Pittsburgh, PA. The hubby & I decided to just give Destin, FL a try for a few days of R&R prior to visiting family in Central FL prior to Christmas. We landed at airport, picked up our car rental about 10:15 AM & immediately started searching for a “brunch place” on Google Maps. Hubby started reading his suggestions to me and the descriptions of Eggs Benedict’s made me choose Ruby Slipper. Boy, am I glad we did! What an amazing find. The greeter/hostess was friendly & chatty, the ambience was homey, friendly & decorated so cute for Christmas. THEN, we met our delightful server Kristen M. She was absolutely perfect. Not pushy, patient as we looked over the extensive menu, answered our questions, gave her recommendations & when I couldn’t decide between two Benedict’s suggested the Peacemaker (one of each). The coffee was delicious & I kid you not, those Benedict’s were the best I have ever had. The Hollandaise sauce was different for each one and obviously made with love and from scratch. If not, I don’t want to know because I want the sauces to be homemade! 🤣 But, let’s talk about the poached eggs:cooked to PERFECTION 🤗 soft boiled and no runny ooze at all. I love Benedict’s but never like the overly runny eggs. I had one with bacon & tomatoes with spinach on a biscuit, and by far the BEST sauce EVER!!! The other one was a perfectly breaded, tender, juicy chicken breast, another perfectly cooked soft-placed egg and a different sauce. It was delicious too & I might have seen a mushroom? Not sure because I wolfed it down so fast. The bacon/tomato/spinach was MY favorite because of that crazy-good sauce. 😋 But, if you are a chicken lover, it is divine!! Just get The Peacemaker & try both! 🤣🎄I know I am writing a book, but my gosh, I have to praise on our server Kristen M ❤️ She was simply perfection!!! If I was a local, I would go everyday for the food (so many amazing looking things to try) and I would request Kristen M. Attaching some pics. Be prepared for your mouth to water. Now, just go!!!! Oh! One last hot tip. They are offering a $50 gift card. If you buy one, you get a $10 gift card free (but can’t redeem it until January). We gifted ours to a beautiful lady who is local 🤗 Oh, the hubby got a chicken sandwich and in his words “really good, tasty, crispy tots”. They close at 2:00 so brunch is their jam. JUST GO!! **My ONLY regret** I forgot to buy that coffee. Our server said they sell it (beans or grounds??) not sure, I didn’t get to shop. 🤪 ** Recommendations** I have already bragged about this place to our hotel check-in person and their handyman (both local).

Amazing food chill diner atmosphere great for families. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and coffees. Amber did an incredible job taking care of our family there! We will be back. Get the loaded tots and some grits.
