Best seafood market in Destin! We visited 2 other seafood markets but walked out within a minute due to fish market stench. Sexton’s Seafood Market has no fish market smell lingering in the store. Fresh local shrimp and oysters. Very reasonable prices. Skip the other seafood stores!!! Go directly to Sexton’s!!!

Very fair prices and selection of seafood when we stopped in and made a purchase. From Grouper to Salmon, shrimp to crab legs, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It really helped make this first-time purchasing experience easy. Plus, having ice available for a long trip back home. Looking forward to enjoying the seafood.

No, wild redfish cannot be sold in Florida because commercial harvesting is prohibited. However, redfish can be sold if they are farmed and harvested legally outside of Florida waters, or if they originate from a state where commercial sales are legal and are imported into Florida through interstate commerce. Selling wild redfish A complete ban on commercial fishing for wild redfish in Florida was enacted in response to past overfishing. Therefore, you will not find wild-caught redfish for sale in Florida stores or markets. For-hire captains and their crews are also prohibited from keeping any redfish on their charters.

Recently purchased grouper and shrimp - the grouper was of ok quality but still contained many bones. The shrimp did not have a fresh flavor.

We’ve been on vacation to Destin twice and both times we got our fish from this market. We live Colorado so the fish we often get here is not that good, but Sexton’s fish is fresh and sooooo good! We’re heading back to Destin this Thanksgiving and can’t wait to see what they’ll have available. The store is super clean, the staff are friendly, and the fish IS AMAZING!!! See you all soon!😁

Best and cheapest shrimp I found in Destin! We do a shrimp boil where we do from scratch every year we go to the coast and this year we went back to Destin. Sexton's had a great selection of shrimp and well below the price of others. They did not have as much fish on hand as others but I didn't need that. Stop by and check them out.

You might think they're taking advantage of tourist, the difference between Joe pattie, and Saxton. One catches their own supply, whilst at joe pattie, they come frozen. Some all the way from Africa, if asked you would know. Most of their server doesn't even know where the fish comes from. So why would I want to buy it from them. I have never seen red fish at Joe's unless it a red snappers 😉

Poor selection and sky high prices. I wanted some redfish and the lady tried to tell me they can’t sell redfish in the state of Florida until I told her I buy it all of the time at Joe Patti’s then she changed her story. This place is taking advantage of tourist that don’t know any better. Joe Patti in Pensacola has a much better selection and the prices are about half what this place charges. Thankfully we live in the Gulf Breeze area so we just normally go to Joe Patti’s but we were just already over that way this afternoon is the only reason we went there instead. This was our first and probably our last time going there.

Picked up a red snapper fillet and shrimp to cook up at home. It all tasted fresh and they packed it up nicely with some ice for the ride home. It was close to closing time and we weren't rushed. Service was great.
