Yuga Sushi and Sake House

We showed up around 5 and we were the only people in the building, the menu is definitely over priced compared to the other sushi restaurants around destin but our server took our order then sat down on his phone instead of taking care of us, the restaurant itself is dirty the tables weren't wiped nor were the chairs a bunch of finger smears on the door the food took over 30 minutes but I can say the sushi was good but still overpriced I don't think I'll be choosing yuga though for my sushi needs anymore

I’ve had better in my hometown which is 5 hours from the sea by driving. Bland and overpriced.

We had Stacey as our server and she was amazing! I watched her deal with an out of control child yelling at her and she handled it like a champ. We loved it here! Food was great too, 5/5 :)

It took 1 hour and 30 minutes for my food to arrive and when it did the order was wrong! Service was terrible! And place sucked! Do not come here

***BEWARE*** Website says it closes at 9:00PM. We arrived at 8:20PM and were unceremoniously informed that the kitchen was closed. We went down the road to Osaka, they sat us immediately, were very courteous, and the sushi was wonderful. We will take our Sushi business elsewhere and will never again set foot in Yuga Sushi.

The food was amazing. I recommend the jalapeño poppers and the yakosoba noodles with shrimp. While I was dining there was one waitress waiting the tables her name was Angie and she was amazing. She was waiting on the whole restaurant as well as the outside patio and she rocked it. I will definitely be back. Great job Angie!!

Shaggy Dog Roll was soo good! Angie was amazing at helping us navigate our food options and so on top of our orders and drinks. Loved this place.

Showed up at 5:30pm because the hours online said they were open until 10 and the hours on the door said they were open until 9... They weren't open and there was no sign on the door offering an you explanation. There were four other groups that also showed up for nothing.

About average/expected prices for decent sushi.Service was exceptionally slow: 40 minutes to deliver 3 rolls of sushi with only 12 guests at 4 tables, including ours.10% Military discount.

Kid-friendliness: It is accommodating, but not an ideal atmosphere for small kids.

If you are looking for great, authentic Japanese- Korean sushi restaurant then come and eat at YUGA Sushi and Sake restaurant!The food is great and sushi was freshly made in front of you. They’ve got beer options if you don’t like sake. Should try their noodle menus with yummy variety of appetizers.The ambience was fantastic, great if you’re unto the “dating scence”. Highly recommended Asian restaurant in Destin.

Stopped by with an hour to kill before a movie. Had the Pork Belly Frites as an appetizer. Could have eaten the whole thing by myself! The drizzled sauce was amazing and the fries very crunchy. Also had the ramen bowl with pork belly. This was not bland boiled pork belly either. It was seasoned, roasted perfection! 10/10 would go back!

Excellent food, attentive service. Had Pork Belly Frites, nice and crispy spicy. Unagi Don, excellent Japanese style smoked and bbq eel. Tonkatsu ramen bowl with pork belly, on point.

As a local, this is my favorite sushi place in town. The sushi is fantastic, but I must also recommend the other items on the menu.We always or their Gyoza, and the ponzu sauce is amazing. The fried rice is the best I have ever had and is my go to entree. The chicken katsu is something you may not normally think of getting but trust me, it is incredible. No matter what you want, you will find something delicious here.

Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they are very good about making sure I can eat what they make me!

Kid-friendliness: There is a playground nearby in the commons
