If you are looking for great, authentic Japanese- Korean sushi restaurant then come and eat at YUGA Sushi and Sake restaurant! The food is great and sushi was freshly made in front of you. They’ve got beer options if you don’t like sake. Should try their noodle menus with yummy variety of appetizers. The ambience was fantastic, great if you’re unto the “dating scence”. Highly recommended Asian restaurant in Destin.Wheelchair accessibility: It located at first floor in front of the small public Destin Common park and fountain.
Stopped by with an hour to kill before a movie. Had the Pork Belly Frites as an appetizer. Could have eaten the whole thing by myself! The drizzled sauce was amazing and the fries very crunchy. Also had the ramen bowl with pork belly. This was not bland boiled pork belly either. It was seasoned, roasted perfection! 10/10 would go back!

As a local, this is my favorite sushi place in town. The sushi is fantastic, but I must also recommend the other items on the menu.We always or their Gyoza, and the ponzu sauce is amazing. The fried rice is the best I have ever had and is my go to entree. The chicken katsu is something you may not normally think of getting but trust me, it is incredible. No matter what you want, you will find something delicious here.Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they are very good about making sure I can eat what they make me!Kid-friendliness: There is a playground nearby in the commons

Probably the nicest restaurant in The DestinCommons but mediocre as far as sushi restaurants go in the area. Service was great and the sushi and eel were fresh-tasting. My Geisha Roll was tiny for $20 and my wife's Unagi Don, also $20, was cut very thin instead of the thick-cut style we've had at other places. I will say that the shrimp tempura was awesome (not pictured)! This place is perfect if you're shopping around The Commons and want fresh, well-made sushi or ramen with a very nice ambiance but don't mind spending a bit more!

Ordered my food and while waiting watched the manager stick his hands in the rice and ate it with his bare fingers then stuck his hand back in the rice. His fingers went all the way into his mouth and back into the rice. He tried to say he washed his hands evertime but I watched him the 3 times he did it. Very unsanitary. He tried to justify by saying he has to taste the rice to make sure it’s…..something I don’t even remember I was so grossed out.

If mediocre was a restaurant, I’m certain Yuga Sushi would be it! The food is something you can find elsewhere (other reviews share the same thought), and we saw the waiters handling food with bare hands after coming from their lunch break; so maybe do more research before landing here. I wish I could share how the food tasted, but I forgot - wasn’t that memorable.
This place deserves wayyyyy more than 4.2 stars!!! Are you kidding me! The food!!! The service!!!! All was phenomenal!!! We will definitely eat here again!!!

Top sushi in Destin. Service is always excellent and they have an extensive import/craft/local beer selection you don’t often find at sushi restaurants. Daily happy hour from 2-5 with value can’t be beat anywhere! Must visit.

One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to. I ordered a mixed platter of sushi, spiced edamame, a salad, miso soup, and beef teriyaki and rice. Everything was splendid. The fish was succulent and rich in flavor and the miso soup was absolutely perfect. If I am near this restaurant I will definitely go again.Vegetarian options: There are a handful of options that contain no meat whatsoever.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter this restaurant
Recommended dishes: Fish, Roll

Gyōza appeared freezer burned. The spicy ramen tasted like a crab boil with undercooked house-made noodles (mushy raw pasta) and the egg was cold. Pork belly in the ramen was tasty though.
