Great view for lunch and drinks

Pros: great view
Cons: SLOW service even when it is not busy during the off season
Four friends and I went here on a casual Saturday afternoon for lunch during the off season. It was not busy. After being misquoted our time for a table, we grabbed drinks at the bar. After our wait time had doubled, we were eventually seated. The server was polite and kind, but it took FOREVER to be greeted, orders taken, etc. By the time we had received our food and finished, we had at the restaurant for over two hours for lunch. While I wish that timeline was a joke, especially during the off season, it was not and primarily due to simply waiting.

We went for dinner the first time since it’s Stacie’s on the beach. Our entrees were delicious, service great and views of the ocean spectacular! We will be back!

Just DON’T do it if you want a good meal! Food was horrible. Seafood tasted frozen, not fresh. Especially the stuffed flounder. There was nothing garlic about the mashed potatoes. We ordered the shrimp scampi and it came with rice instead of noodles. Only come here if you want a couple of drinks and a good view. This review is coming from a local for any tourist.

My husband and 1 other couple attended dinner here in January 2025. We chose this location based on the Google reviews and menu options. I wanted to leave a little more info to balance the available information.
Our lovely server informed us that our much craved scallops were NOT on the menu for our particular evening.
No worries...we chose the salmon and shrimp risotto.
Our meals came out in timely manner. Although our salmon was quite tasty, the mashed potatoes were not. Not a hint of garlic was detected. And the other vegetables were raw. Our friend who ordered the shrimp risotto, experienced a dish that close to inedible. The risotto was pasty and flavorless.
As we finished our meals, we realized there was only 1 other family dining. Not sure if it was the time of year or overall sad experiences.

This is a little bit of a tough one to write, but I’d be remised to not leave a review in case someone has one nice night to go out-this probably isn’t the place. We walked in and it was totally empty… the gym above is open to the restaurant, no barrier or glass… we were seated at a very very small table which was odd for a group of four. The view outside of the sunset was gorgeous, and the decor and ambiance was okay too. No one at the front desk or the serving staff was able to give a recommendation of what was good or of what they enjoy…. The waitress was kind, and the food came out quickly but was not very good overall. The French onion soup had potential but lacked salt, and the shrimp risotto was not great. The shrimp itself was seasoned and tasty but the risotto was really strange. It had a weird after taste and was quite soupy. The wait staff asked how we liked our salmon cooked which was a new experience… I’ve only really heard that for beef… the salmon came out fine enough, though one serving was a really large piece and the other was tiny and skinny. It seemed odd to have such different sizes of the protein at the same table. One person at the table didn’t eat their risotto and there was not really any acknowledgement of that by the staff, they simply cleared the plate and didn’t seem concerned that only the shrimp were eaten. Again I lean more toward positive reviews but I would feel bad if someone wanted to use their one big money night or date night when there are much better options nearby. Also I have to acknowledge that it’s off season and that could be a factor but for the full pricing I’m not so sure that’s a very valid excuse.

I hadn't eaten here in quite some time, so I decided to order some lunch at Soleil. WOW-this place has really outdone themselves! I ordered the marinated chicken sandwich; meat tender, sauce tasty, and the fries crisp and flavorful. Absolutely delicious! The dining room is immaculate and the view is indescribable. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Soleil!

What a wonderful place! We visited on Thanksgiving Day and the food was simply amazing. We had shrimp risotto, au gratin and onion soup. The presentation and the taste of the food was outstanding. Our server was incredibly nice. We will be back.

The meal was excellent. The service was a little slow, but it is Thanksgiving day, so we were not disturbed. The salmon, swordfish and turkey wellington were all excellent, as well as the pumpkin Brule and carrot cake.

My parents and I had Thanksgiving dinner at Soleil. The service and food were outstanding! My dad had the salmon and stated it was the best salmon he has ever tasted in his 82 years. My mom and I had the Turkey Wellington and we both thought it was fantastic. I am not a fan of turkey, but the Turkey Wellington was tender, juicy and just fabulous. I would highly recommend Soleil!!

The service was attentive and warm, yet the experience fell short of expectations. Despite making reservations online, we felt hurried due to limited availability, only to find the restaurant sparsely occupied upon our arrival. The chicken sandwich was disappointingly dry, and my husband faced further delays with an incorrect order, resulting in an overcooked steak devoid of flavor. While my crème brûlée was delightful, his spice cake arrived partially frozen, which is unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. The outdoor ambiance, though visually appealing in promotional images, was marred by the proximity to hotel guests on their balconies. Ultimately, the stunning Gulf view could not compensate for the lackluster dining experience, leaving us disheartened by the disparity between the restaurant's portrayal and reality.

We held a dinner here following our daughter’s beach wedding ceremony and we couldn’t have asked for anything nicer. Thought there isn’t a private room, our party of 12 had all the privacy we need with the help of a screen. To a person, the food was highly praised and our server was wonderful. Manager Staci helped with all the details far in advance and was there that evening to ensure all was well and that we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

If you want overcooked scallops and undercooked rice, this is your place. Looking for a side of bugs with your crab legs? Look no further! Mold is your passion? Well just take a peak at any given air duct within your peripheral vision. I honestly don’t understand how this place is a functioning restaurant…? Other than the fact that the entire customer base is tourists, that will likely never come back. So much potential absolutely wasted. The view of The Gulf of Mexico and Paige our waitress were genuinely the only pleasant things about the entire dining experience.

Man, what a disappointment for so much money spent. The place wasn’t busy at all, which we found strange for such a gorgeous view. We got our appetizers almost immediately…. And then waited over an hour for our dinners. We appreciate that they gave us the “locals discount” to make up for it and free drinks but the drinks weren’t good and the food ended up not even being great (except the fried whole fish, which I enjoyed.) The seafood pasta was bland and so was the steak. The oyster Rockefeller was not good at all. They also didn’t turn on the outside lights, so we ate in the dark (the lights they came to clip onto the tables, long after sunset, were definitely not enough to light up everything an hour after the sun was down.) Service was very friendly though and they did try to make it up to us, which we appreciate. It was just too much of a fail and so damn expensive that it didn’t really help. Should’ve listened to those two reviews that complained about the same issues 🤦🏻♀️

Our waitress was so wonderful. So patient and took such good care of us. The management was sour. She came to our table bc we waited 20min for just drinks. Was not friendly. Blaming us for complaining. If going to be in service business then know customer and job. She knew neither. I know restaurant has change hands and not for the better. Drinks were sub par. Lobster bisque was liquid broth. No lobster to be found. Bacon in wedge was bacon bits or some other form of process. Too bad. Was a nice place to eat last year.
