Tailfins Sushi & Raw Bar

My wife and I had dinner there, Monday evening. She had the shrimp and grits, and I ordered the BBQ ribs. We also ordered fried calamari. Everything was excellent. The ribs came with a side of baked beans, and they were as good as any I’ve ever had. Our server was wonderful…very attentive. She couldn’t have done a better job.

Recommended this restaurant for dinner to a large, very responsible bachelorette group that was coming down to Destin wanting live music and they received nothing but rude service from the staff here. They got up and left and went somewhere else. Will not be recommending to any of my future parties. This is a bad reflection on my business and Tailfins.

Good food, good music and fast service

In Destin for Christmas and went here on Christmas day. The place was full, but we got seated quickly by the water. Was a warm day, so this was just fine. Many televisions that had the day's games on. Server was very helpful and attentive. I had a bowl of seafood gumbo, my wife had a turkey sandwich/salad, and our daughter had fish tacos. The meal was good, and I had a Bloody Mary that was also very good. We will go back the next time we are in Destin.

We had brunch and it was so good! The pretzel was so big and delicious. Bloody Mary was outstanding. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast next time. Lots of options on the menu. Clean bathroom

So this place is awesome !!! Foods great !! Crab stuffed Mahi ... so good ! My server ... attentive.? Many levels and great atmosphere... What's the downside?? It's expensive... Lots of flavor and great portions on my plate... just expensive... My table overlooking the harbor, watching tiki boats go by and enjoying the cool ocean breeze... that's what you are paying for... if you want to indulge a little...

Tailfins was great! There was something for everyone. Great food, service was on point and the views were great.

Very bad experience walked in and didn’t get any service for a very long time nobody even looked at us and it was not busy.

Was told the slab of ribs were a favorite and were KC style. I got a small slab of way overcooked pre packaged/convection oven ribs with no sauce...pre basted before the convection oven. I asked for ketchup for the fries and a side of BBQ Sauce because they were dry. Waiter brought a small cup of ketchup and told me I would be charged extra for a small BBQ sauce...really??? After paying 28.00 for a terribly overcooked, small and dry slab...ya wouldnt think they wanted to charge extra for a small cup of BBQ Sauce. Actually no one in our group was satisfied with their meal. Worst Quality and Place on Destin Harbor...Wont be back for sure... Y'all been warned!!

Our favorite place on the harbor (we are local)! Great drinks and a menu with a wide variety of choices! Because we live here, we get tired of seafood. They have great burgers and ribs! We also enjoy brunch there after church. The owner, Johnny, is great and our favorite dockside server is Juna! Rusty is there in Thursdays and his music is so much fun!

Shelby was fantastic! Food was good and service was great. Definitely recommend! I has the crab legs and my husband had boneless wings. Shelby recommended my drink and she nailed it!

A great place for lunch. Staff: Friendly, nice Food: hot, great taste Live music during lunch You do have to sit on bar stools and it is outside

Waiter was fine on lower out side deck , the fish and chip worse I can remember. Absolutely nothing in little strips, cali Mari about the same. It was 8:30 at night

So good! Our whole group had the biscuits and gravy which was good BUT the gravy was a bit cold than I would have liked. Overall really good.
