We absolutely loved this Thai restaurant. Every dish had the warmth and balance of true home cooking—nothing overly oily or heavy, just clean, comforting flavors. The owners, an elderly couple, bring such genuine hospitality and pride to their food. They treat every guest like family, and it shows in both the service and the quality of the dishes. All i have to say is WOW! Not just was the food amazing, but the service was wonderful! Since it was Christmas Eve it wasn't busy so we got to talk to the owners who were two sisters. The nicest people! My family and I highly recommend going here. Each dish we ordered was better than the next. Something about local businesses that we love!

Highly recommend Thai Smile! The food was delicious! The owners were very kind! I did call ahead and asked if they ordered beer and wine. They do not sell alochol however you can bring your own drinks inside. We got the crab ragoons, veggies rolls, coconut shrimp fried rice and the pepper steak stir fry! Everything was cooked so yummy! We got medium spice and that was also the perfect about of heat!

Went to this restaurant last night looking for a good Thai restaurant in the area. I’m a big fan of the cuisine and was heading to my favorite spot in destin (I won’t mention any names) but forgot that they were closed on Sundays. So I was looking for top rated Thai restaurants and Thai Smile came in with very high marks and reviews so what could go wrong?? The place was clean and had no problem there. The food on the other hand was a whole different story.
Me and my Fiancé ordered two appetizers and they were just normal frozen food apps so no big deal. The main courses is where the problem begins and ends. We ordered the Red curry with Duck. The bowl looked decent and had various fruits and vegetables including a whole bunch of grape tomatoes that did not remind me of the curry that I’m used to at all. It was very watery and the rice could not stand up to the curry at all. The duck was not recognizable at all and took a back seat to the vegetables.
The other dish we had was the Chicken Pad Thai and that dish just had an awful smell and was just about as watery as my curry. The taste was not good and was put to the side as we decided to just share the curry broth with another bowl of rice and call it a night even then we could not tolerate the hot grape tomatoes and over abundance of large chunks of pineapple which we left in the bowl. Overall this dining experience was not good and I do not recommend this place as a good Thai option at all.
The one good thing this place did was to remind myself of the several other Thai restaurants that far exceed any menu item that this place sells and that’s not even considering my favorite and probably the best Thai restaurant from Destin to 30A. This is not the place to go for Thai. Sorry.

The place is so cute and clean. The atmosphere is homey. The Thai tea was delicious and so was the basil rice! The waiter was very friendly and sweet. Will definitely be going back:)

Such wonderful Thai cuisine. The attention to the details and selection of fresh ingredients shows through in the curry I selected. Just the perfect balence of heat to the deep flavors that all tied in together. These folks treat you well and make wonderful dishes..going back for some Nam Tok.

Amazing experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted respectfully and offered seats. The chef was very accommodating to our food preferences, and there was an appropriate wait time before our food came. We ordered the mixed vegetables dish, the drunken noodles, and the glass noodles. Highly recommend the last one - was cooked perfectly! During our wait, someone at our table spilled a water, and the servers were very kind and helpful. The food tasted exactly like food at Thailand, and the chef herself came and let us know that it was all home recipes. Lila was very gracious and respectful throughout the meal, and she also saw us out with a 'Have a nice night and thank you for coming!' Could not praise enough, I truly enjoyed my experience here.
