Service was superb. Waiter was attentive. The shrimp & corn chowder was good. Needed more seasoning…, but rich, creamy and full of shrimp.Basket is hushpuppies were sweet and tasty with bits of corn. A bit pricey for fried bread.Overall, a good dining experience with a great view of the beach.

This place was awesome. My husband and I were in Destin visiting family at one of the condos nearby so we decided to try this place. The parking was easy, about a 15-20 minute wait to be seated. We were sat on the upstairs balcony area which I imagine is beautiful during the day time or full moon. We had Alex as our server and he was attentive, friendly, and made our experience really enjoyable. We got the firecracker shrimp appetizer, my husband got the snapper sandwich, and I got the crab legs with mashed potatoes. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious with very good portions sizes. I would just recommend bringing a sweater if you are to sit outside at night as the breeze from the ocean can be a bit chilly.

Long story short: Go to McGuires Irish Pub instead. Went the day before and the service, food and ambiance and miles above this spot.The food is very pricey here, bland and comes out suspiciously fast. We had a table of 6 with food at different temperatures and different proteins and they all came out about 15 minutes after ordering.The Mahi Mahi was well done to the point of being so dry I almost coughed it up and the burger was completely flavorless. They also have a chicken tender entree on the menu at about $25 and mozzarella sticks at $14! The kicker is the marinara sauce is served in a plastic ramekin with a lid like this is a baseball game. It reminded me of Burger King but 10x more expensive.The sides are of the "heat and serve variety", nothing spectacular or memorable. Ive had better at grocery store freezer sections. The mashed potatoes are bland and just one step above KFC, the fries remind me of bowling alley fare and the twice baked potato left a lot to be desired. They could have added sour cream, bacon or anything in it to make it unique but for a $32 entree that's the best they could do. The one saving grace was the "southern" corn medley, but it was just succotash, which comes with all entrees.The speciality drinks are $14+.I wouldn't go back if you paid me and I didn't even pay this time.
