Let me start with - the food was amazing! But my boyfriend and I were extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Our waiter was very obviously under the influence of something. He staggered around the restaurant, tripping at times. He talked to my boyfriend for 15 minutes after taking our order about chewing fentanyl patches and comparing the decor of the restaurant to being high off mushrooms - and didn’t put our order into the kitchen until finishing what he was talking about. We were the only two orders in the entire restaurant and it still took over 40 minutes for our food. He stood over our table having completely inappropriate conversation most of the time we were eating. Again, food was great, waiter was completely sketchy.

My wife and I came here last year on our honeymoon and could not get over how good our breakfast was and how amazing our server was. We came back this year fully aware nothing is ever as good as you remember it. We’ll we were wrong, it was even better this year. The food is outstanding and the servers were even better. They give you so much food that you can easily have enough leftovers for a 2nd breakfast (or even a 3rd).Next year e we are planning our vacation about 10 miles further down the road with friends and family and we have already told them our first breakfast will be here.This is our favorite restaurant in Destin!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I had eggs in a basket and hubby had steak and eggs. Both meals were excellent! Kudos to the chef! I joked with my husband about asking them to be our personal chef. Hours later and my husband is still raving about his meal.

We loved our breakfast at the Red Rooster Cafe!! This little restaurant is a family owned place and may be a little bit of a wait but it is 100% worth it! Super tasty!

I'd drive another 5 hours to eat breakfast here again. Superb breakfast, no exaggeration. Everything was made to order, and delicious. I tried the seafood omelette with hash brown casserole, and a biscuit. The omelette was fluffy and filled nicely with shrimp, scallops and a nice pepper blend. It was served with fresh pico and sour cream to top it off.One of my favorite parts was the biscuit, because it was split and toasted nicely on the griddle giving it a nice crunch on the top and bottom, yet very soft and moist. Everything we had was a hit, with great service on top of that. Everyone was friendly, and the atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. I'll definitely return on my next trip to the area.

My wife and I signed as we where supposed too and waited over 30 minutes, just for a group of (6 whites) who had not been there 5 mins to be taken care of before us!! Waiter called it miscommunication, however we know better thanks but no thanks!
