My son booked a month ago for his dads birthday and they don’t know what happen to the reservation and really don’t care that they ruined his birthday dinner!!!

Update the food was comped. I was satisfied

We had a reservation for 8 PM booked 2 days prior, and we arrived 2 hours early and was told that we had to wait until our reservation (no problem). We arrived then 15 minutes earlier than 8 PM and had to wait almost 20 mins after our reservation to be told that it wasn’t their fault that we couldn’t be seated yet… we sat and waited patiently as families passed us to be seated. Just not exactly happy with how we were approached about the fact that we still couldn’t be seated and that it was not their fault it was their “iPad’s fault”… We went to crab shack the night before and had wonderful food with amazing service!! We will just go back there before ever trying to go back here!

Let's start with the positives, which is only 1, it's view. For that I would recommend just go to the sky bar at sunset amd enjoy the view.

The food, service and the ambience is highly overrated, it's all a tourist trap... Please don't fall for it like we did. Food - apps/entrees ( coconut shrimp/ conch fritters, mahi mahi Tacos, grilled jerk chicken) was not seasoned at all and extremely overpriced. You have definitely had better tacos and jerk chicken elsewhere. I am not sure why such underwhelming cooking should be priced so high. In addition, our server was inattentive and couldn't have cared less. We had a birthday celebration in our party and the service just killed the mood.

Instead, I would recommend Back porch, which has similar menu and view: much better food and amazing service. And, not a tourist trap.

We are definitely adding this to our regular places when we are down in Destin. Delicious food and great service! The spinach dip is a must. A little pricey though.

Kid-friendliness: Downstairs is family friendly but we ate upstairs at the sky bar which is 18+

We came with a group and service was great food comes out but not all.. we waited 45 mins for our food all of our party of 4 ate and we got ours 45 mins after which is ridiculous saying there was only 3 other people in the restaurant
(Forgot to mention!! There was a spider in our bowl two split)

I have been to Skybar the past 2 Saturday's with a friend. Atmosphere is good, live music was good. My only issue was the kitchen needs to work on there timing and favors. We had baked oyster and fish taco's. Taco's can out to at the same time as oysters. Not a fan of cold taco's.

I walked into the restaurant tonight and was very confused when the hostess told me that it was a reservation only place. I was told the wait was over an hour yet there was not a single person waiting for a table. She kept looking at the book saying how we wouldn’t be able to eat there because we didn’t have a reservation. I suggest they add reservations needed on their website or answer the phone when someone is trying to call to inquire about one.

Came here with family and was turned away because we didn’t have a reservation, host was very rude and ignored us when we were trying to verify if it was the same the next day only one girl in the front even held half a conversation with us.

My family and I ate here tonight. Our reservation was at 6:30. We did order appetizers. My appetizers was not bad. Our main food did not come out until 8:00 and then the orders were wrong. It put a BIG damper on our dinner. I ordered jerk chicken. It tasted nothing like jerk chicken. I will not be back.

What attracted me to this restaurant was that they had whole fried fish. I enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. I will be back
