Surf hut is always our go-to when in Destin. We usually go twice. The shrimp tacos are amazing!! Just spent the week in Destin and had great food and awesome service both times we went. Went Wednesday around 5pm had a lady server who was so friendly and took our family picture for us. The food was fantastic and super quick. Our family of 3 was seated with no wait. Went again on Saturday around 6:30pm, no wait time, and had great food and even better service. Clark our server was so nice and helpful and went above and beyond during our meal service.
Just had the best appetizers and enjoyed the great atmosphere of the rustic beach porch-like decor. So enjoyed visiting with Al, the restauranteur known for Destin's iconic seaside restaurants.
Yum yum yum!! This spot was just a few minutes' walk on the beach from where we were. The inside is very nice looking, lots of seating plus outside seating! Such a beautiful view! Plus, they had corn hole games. The food was absolutely delicious. Get the tacos, all of them! And the cheese grits were personally my favorite! We tried the seafood cheese dip, a burger and fries, all were so good! Our waitress (Ashley, i think) was wonderful and so helpful and kind. Would love to stop here again when in destin!

It is a lazy and poor chef/cook that serves shrimp without being deveined. Especially at those prices. Server was not personable. Dead ambience. At least they had the beach.

Food was honestly the worst, ribs were rlly dry, the grilled grouper was super bland as well as the stuffed shrimp. We waited a hot minute for our food which is understandable for the location but the whole plate of food was cold had to send it back. for the amt of money ull spend here plz go somewhere else. the service was the best quality. thankfully the grouper was taken off but still stands i wouldnt go back.

Surf Hut is an Amazing place to go out to eat at when you're in Miramar Beach. We were literally in walking distance from Majestic Sun's. I took my Dad here for his birthday week and we had so much fun. Surf Hut has an awesome atmosphere, service, and food. I'll definitely recommend Surf Hut to family and friends. It was so stunning we visited again before heading back home to Georgia and last but not least we had the world's best waitress and we gave her a generous tip that day for being a stunning waitress plus it was her birthday week. We'll definitely be coming back again ❣️❣️❣️❣️

We had high hopes after reading reviews online, but what a bad experience. The host and servers were there singular bright spot. They were attentive and nice. The food, however, was a terrible experience. Oysters were semi-shriveled, liked they had been shucked long before and sat open in a cooler. My cobia looked and tasted exactly like a Gorton’s frozen fish fillet. Fries were hot on the outside and cool In the middle. Veggies were so caked in seasoning that they were gritty. Over $100 for lunch. Seriously.
