Great service, easy access, but I was disappointed in the changes under the new ownership. For example, the collard greens were a wonderfully tender treat with chump of salted pork for flavor before, they now serve cooked greens with salt. In addition, I don’t believe they warmed the corn muffins at all. We brought home with our leftovers though, so you know they are pretty tasty for sweet cornbread. The meatloaf was great, though. Serving portions are still generous though, like everywhere, prices are higher. The staff were great, the place is busy but not noisy, the parking is more than adequate for the restaurant, and but for the loss of ‘Southern Cookin’ flavor to the greens I would have been completely fine.
Have been here twice and the food was great the first time, was okay the second time, but I wasn't thrilled about the chicken and dumpling. It really didn't taste homemade to me.

I’d give this place 10 stars if i could! Came here with my family after an emotionally intense doctor’s appointment. I enjoy the atmosphere, it’s cute and country living aesthetic.
The staff is immensely friendly, and the food is SO yummy, hearty, and tastes homemade.
It was after 1:00 and they stopped serving breakfast, and I was craving pancakes. I joked with the waitress about making an exception for pancakes, but ordered a sandwich. Within like five minutes, the owner Justin came out with three pancakes! blueberry, plain, and chocolate. They didn’t even charge us for the pancakes! the pancakes reminded me of the ones my great grandma made. My only mild complaint is the bathroom was STINKY and the toilets were stained, but no one goes to restaurants for a good peeing experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back even though it’s an hour away, it’s worth it.

Solid food, country style. For the first time in a long time I had chicken livers, crossing my fingers that they weren't dried and overdone like the gas stations where you will usually find them. They weren't. Lightly battered and fried they were essentially perfect if a little cool. Coleslaw, beers and fried okra were all good, but not as good as home. Plenty of servers meant even the group that we showed up with were well taken care of. Bathrooms were clean. I would definitely return.

if you left breakfast like I do, this is the best place to go for breakfast. I highly recommend the mason jar. I’m a regular go there one to two times a week. You will not regret it. It feels like when you open the door and walk in They welcome you in and treat you like family

This place has a really good country feel. The food was well portioned and had wonderful flavor. Hubby and I ordered the roast beef and the country fried steak. For sides we had mash potatoes with gravy, green beans, collard greens, and the candied yams. We both chose corn muffin but that was not something we enjoyed. Everything else was delicious. We ended the meal with cherry cobbler topped with ice cream. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The decor in the restaurant was very home like, comfortable, and to look around and see the decor was entertaining. Overall a great experience. It got busy due to their fish fry all u can eat deal, but even being busy the service was great, the only thing is we waited for the check and had to ask. But drinks were filled and they did check on us to see if the food was to our liking. I would go again.
