Aprile Restaurant - Doral

Came here on a Sunday evening to enjoy some food with my family. We tried two of their pastas as well as their coconut lemonade and we loved them! We had the classic a la ruta (with bits of bacon) and Teléfono Aprile. They were amazing. The cheese was super abundant and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The plates are also very big so we had to eat and took some leftovers home 😊 Maria Fernanda provided excellent service. She was kind and sweet and guided us in our selections of the menu providing helpful suggestions. She was also very attentive and enhanced our experience here! We will be coming back soon for more!! Next time we will try their nutella crepe for dessert

What a great pick. Delicious food and exceptional service. I selected the Citric Salmon that comes grilled with risotto.. delicious!! Hosted by Maria Fernanda, always smiling makes you feel like a king… and master chef Simon Bertucci with his creative and passion for specialties. Highly recommended!

Maria Fernanda was truly amazing. She was the only one working the floor, managing multiple tables, and even training at the same time — yet she never made us feel rushed or ignored. Her attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism really stood out and elevated the entire experience. If the owner is reading this, please take care of her. She’s a gem and represents your restaurant beautifully.

Now onto the food — we came in for the pasta and filet mignon combo. The pasta was delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. However, the filet mignon was a letdown. It arrived completely unseasoned — not even a pinch of salt — and was served medium rare when we had specifically requested medium well. It was visibly bleeding onto the plate next to the pasta, which is honestly a pet peeve of mine.

Also, the water glass had an unpleasant egg-like smell, as if it hadn’t been washed properly. Small detail, but it didn’t go unnoticed.

We still enjoyed ourselves thanks to Maria Fernanda, but the kitchen definitely needs some attention — especially when it comes to seasoning and properly reading doneness requests.

Customer service above and beyond!! My best friend ordered a pavlova for his mom’s birthday and my boyfriend loved it so much that I had to order them for his birthday. I did everything over the phone and the staff was super helpful with the pick up!! Thank you so much for everything 🫰🏼✨

Lunch special was delicious and affordable!

I’ve been to this restaurant several times, but my experience on 08/27/2925 was extremely disappointing. The place was full of flies , which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. I ordered a burger medium, but the patty came out hard as a rock.

What was most frustrating, however, was the misleading way they handle their Wednesday “Prosecco $2” promotion. The menu clearly states $2 per glass, but when the bill comes, they first list a supposed “regular price” of $8, then apply a discount to make it look like a promotion. This trick allows them to charge 18% gratuity and tax based on the inflated “regular” price instead of the $2 that the customer is actually paying and it’s on the menu
When I raised this issue, the owner admitted it, saying he had to cover the server’s salary that way. He thinks we are in Venezuela ! I find this practice dishonest and unfair to customers.

They have great 2 for 1 deals on Uber Eats sometimes. We had the Alfredo pasta this time and it was undercooked, but aside from that it’s been great every other time we’ve visited this place.

This spot in Doral really surprised me. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the dishes blew me away, super flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The service was great too, and overall it turned out to be a really good experience. It’s a little on the pricey side, but honestly worth it for the quality and vibe. Definitely glad I gave it a try.
