I had a great experience at Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen in Doral at CityPlace! The food was delicious, the drinks were the highlight of the night, and the live music created the perfect vibe for a fun night out dancing.

We chose the outdoor seating, which was a great option—it allowed us to enjoy the music without it being overwhelmingly loud, and we could still talk comfortably. The decor inside is beautiful and vibrant, though it does get pretty loud indoors when the band is playing.

The service was fantastic. Our server, Britney, was amazing—attentive, charming, and really made the night extra enjoyable. Even the restroom had nice touches—the men’s room offered different colognes, which was a surprising but classy detail.

Overall, Copper Blues is a great spot for good food, drinks, music, and an all-around great time. Will definitely be back!

I’m extremely disappointed with the way we were treated at this restaurant. We were a party of 7 . We were told after our meal when we ask for the bill that we still had $200 more to spend , that there was a $50 per person minimum, which was never mentioned when we made the reservation, sat down, or reviewed the menu. When we politely asked the waitress to show us where that was stated, she became rude and threatened to call the police on us — simply for asking for clarification.
(Regardless you are going to pay or the police is right there in going to tell them you don't want to pay)
We were more than willing to pay for what we actually ordered and consumed, but being pressured and intimidated into paying hidden charges is unacceptable. This experience felt unprofessional and completely unfair.

Additionally, we were told that we either had to continue consuming more food and drinks to meet the minimum or we would still be forced to pay the full amount, regardless of what we actually ordered.

What made this experience worse is that her behavior occurred right in front of the manager, who did nothing to step in or de-escalate the situation.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Transparency and respectful customer service are the bare minimum. The Food is terrible and We still had to pay the full amount which is very unfair and unethical.

Nowhere in the menu shows that There is a $50 minimum spending per person.

If you go on a Sunday for brunch be prepared to spend 50 per person minimum and are very strict about reaching that amount I even spoke to the manager to clarify. They do not display this on their menu, advertise this on a sign, and the hostess doesn't notify you of this. The Improve nextdoor clearly states a two drink minimum so I don't understand why copper doesn't. It feels very deceitful to find out about that rule when you are about to pay. I also looked on their website it has no mention of this. I went with my girlfriend and was at about $85 originally and then had to spend about $102 with gratuity added. We got two orders of the steak and eggs with tots and my girlfriend got a bottomless mimosa I couldn't drink due to me taking medications. So at the end when we wanted to pay we were told we had to wait and order another food item when we already wanted to leave.

Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment regarding the restroom facilities shared between The Improv and Copper Blues. I attended an event at The Improv at 7 PM last night, and once again encountered an unacceptable level of cleanliness in the shared restrooms—specifically those maintained by Copper Blues.

This is now the second time I have submitted feedback on this issue, and it’s clear from the attached photos that the concern has yet to be addressed. The condition of the restroom reflects poorly on management, especially considering the venue was relatively empty at the time, suggesting that there was ample opportunity for cleaning and maintenance.

While I greatly enjoy the performances at The Improv and appreciate the talent they bring in, I cannot overlook the importance of proper sanitation. Restroom cleanliness is a direct reflection of a business’s standards, and in this case, Copper Blues has fallen far short.

Based on the current state of cleanliness, I would not feel comfortable dining at Copper Blues under any circumstance. I strongly urge management to take immediate corrective action. Frankly, a visit from a health inspector would be warranted.

Thank you~Martika

Excellent service provided by Elisa. She was so welcoming and professional and greeted us kindly. Service was exceptional and she set the most positive tone for the rest of the night. Looking forward to her service again in the future.

The happy hour here feels shady. The menu clearly says it ends at 4pm, but they stop serving alcohol at 3pm without telling anyone. Misleading and disappointing.

Been a fan of this place for years. Last experience june 2025 was a big let down, starting with several appetizers being very small nearly for one person Not sharable size but the price ofcourse high, first order was wrong, music band was surprisingly bad might as well let the original song play, time to pay my check Not available don't show you a receipt but a screen to force you into No time to review your check but they do want a tip and they obviously don't tell you that thats actually the second tip. The first tip is already added to the main check. I asked for my receipt 3 times never got it. Overall seem like a huge change in management for the bad. Better security but they lowered everything else. Sad. Over $100 for two left hungry. Improvement in band, food size, actual receipt and time to pay is heavily needed.

The bar tenders on the side by the DJ treated us poorly. One of the girls refused to give us water and said we had to open a tab and pay for the water after midnight. So later we tried ordering more drinks and both bar tenders ignored us. So as a result we ordered from the bus boy because both bar tenders were ignoring us. Obviously at this point we were annoyed. One of the bar tenders decided to tell the security to kick us out, so we gladly agreed to leave but the security guard treated us like criminals and asked if we needed them to call the cops. At this point we were already walking out but they decided to make this a whole scene and walk us out with their flash lights. This is ridiculous, I’m a grown ass woman and I’m not looking for problems, this place is ratchet do yourself a favor and AVOID it at all costs. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
