One of the best Mexican Restaurants in LA. Every single plate represents their authenticity and it's definitely made with love. The service it's amazing, I have been there multiple times and every single time I feel welcome. The ambiance it's nice. I totally recommend to try out, the mole is delicious.

NO SERVICE!! Came in on a Sunday, and it clearly was very busy with only 1 waiter. We asked the waiter if we can sit ourselves and he was rude and said, Wait. Once we sat down, we didn't get any service after 10 minutes we got up and left.He shouted at us as we were leaving, he shouted, Sorry we're Busy! So if the restaurant is very busy and making lots of money then get more waiters!!

Overall the food was pretty okay the carne was chewy the white rice threw me off the camarones were good. We came around 1 ish it was just one lady working running around looked like she could use help the service was a bit of a wait but nothing too bad. I wanted a caldo and said it was at least a 30 minute wait & normally i would have waited but i was with other ppl so i got something else and we still ended up waiting hella long Seemed a little unprepared i understand the food having to be made to order but the agua frescas? Wanted a refill on an horchata and she had to go soak the rice. Was gonna ask for extra salsa but was probably gonna have to wait for all the chiles to grow. The place wasnt busy when we went every ones food looked good and when you first walk in the smell makes you crave everything. I would go back to try the other stuff

What a find in DTLA. Attending a conference and saw this on a Google search. Checked it here and walked over for lunch. Fresh food, with amazing flavor. Our waitress even had made the salsa earlier in the day.

Best huevos rancheros of your life. The ambiance is dope, the service is great and the food is incredible. Get to this spot. I even loved me some Jamaica juice.

Service is horrible. The waitress didn't help when I walked in .. I asked if I should sit where ever, she looked over her shoulder and said yea. Then while waiting I ordered my drink & food... everyone around me got chips and salsa while waiting, literally the guy sitting alone next to me got one.. mind you it was lonely when I got there, by the time others came she still wouldn't look at me. After 30 mins of waiting for my food I simply asked for the bill and my food to go. The ambiance was cute, it's clearly a hipster place, being the only Latina here and being ignored is sad. I must say it's very disappointing. Food was ok

How do you serve the table next to us chips and salsa upon seating and then tell us you've run out right after. It's only 2:30pm...... Can't you cut some tortillas and fry them? And all the server does is giggle.

One star is being generous restaurant had to be open at 10 at least that's what I said, when we searched it up we got here at 10:20 and they told us it wasn't open then they told us it will open at 11 because they were backed up for me. That is very unprofessional.

A true hidden gem, this is as close to me as visiting my moms kitchen, and the ambiance and decor makes you feel like you're visiting your grandma back in a mexico. This place has amazing food and gives major Fonda vibes. The staff is super friendly and make you feel as if you're visiting family. And the best part is coming here after a night out with a bad hangover and getting the cure w their aguachiles or one of their caldos. I used to pibe around The corner from here and had not been back since my wife and I lived out of DTLA, so we went back recently and I was amazed to see that they expanded their space by more than double and decorated the place to feel like a true mexican Fonda experience w the flavors to go along with it. Thank me later.

It's a divey location. Very nice inside and excellent service. Chips and salsa come with the meal and the salsa has a nice latent kick. Had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and because I was starved a chili rellenos on the side. Chicken enchiladas were some of the best I have had recently and the relleno was very good. Lots of hotels in the area so if you're nearby wander in and have a great meal.

Very cute hole in the wall Mexican place. They recently expanded and have much more room. Staff is very kind. In the past food would take a while, but they have greatly improved on that. I love having lunch from here. Have had the standard Mexican dishes many times and always good. Had a lunch chicken salad from here recently which was amazing.

Amazing!I stumbled upon this quaint and very beautiful restaurant right before a Laker game and I am so happy I did. The chicken quesadilla was perfect and the Jamaica was wonderful with tremendous service!

Food is delish!! Hole in the wall, but very authentic and the wait staff is so helpful and friendly. Going again today and driving vs I I wrong this time so hoping parking is available somewhere. I think that's the only downside.
