The people, the food, and the overall atmosphere were great! The man at the flattop was respectful and helpful, and both the cashier and the runner were excellent. Most importantly, the food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and prepared just right. The corn especially stood out: sweet and tender, exactly how it should be.

That said, I think the place could be even better with a few upgrades. The furniture, décor, and organization feel a little dated and cramped for the space. The back area looks crowded, and the coolers in the front take up unnecessary room. Some of the wood around the prep tables is peeling — covering it with metal would help with both cleanliness and appearance. Also, the chairs in the front take up too much space; stools might work better.

On the branding side, the menu could use a refresh. Not all items (like chicharrones) are listed, and adding them would improve the experience.

I share this feedback because the food is worth it, and I’d love to see the restaurant match its quality. I’ll definitely be back — the flavors alone keep me coming!

K’chapas might just sell the best empanadas in town! Not the “fancy” new twist, but the traditional flavor—delicious and comforting, just like home🇻🇪

Today was the second time I picked up some empanadas to go, and to my surprise, the owner was making them right in front of me, which made me realize why they’re SO good—they’re homemade! This is definitely a small business that deserves all our love and support, with amazing food and outstanding service from the owners themselves.

From now on, I’m a K’chapas lover!

I ate cachapa with cheese and it was fine. The reason why I did not give 5 Stars is because it was a bit too sweet, the same with the juice. It's a small place but

His cachapas are more spongy than traditional cachapas (resembles more the consistency of an american pancake) so i didn't love it. I like the traditional chunky corn meaty cachapas. Carne mechada was great though.
