We googled breakfast near us and as this place was a two minute walk from our hotel we came here! How lucky were we?! The food is fabulous fresh and service excellent and the coffee great! The croissants look fabulous as does all the cakes I had delicious pancakes and my husband eggs which were perfect. Definitely worth a visit

I love this place but However, today’s visit was disappointing. The croissant I ordered was hard and clearly not fresh. When I mentioned it, I did not receive a clear or satisfactory explanation, which made the situation more frustrating.

Food was great when we finally got it. The service was abysmal. It took about 30 minutes for our server to come by. We ordered water and she eventually brought water bottles (it would have been good for her to offer us tap water…) Everything took forever. Server ignored us when we asked for anything, and then was very rude when we asked for the check. It still took at least 30 minutes to get that. It was steady but not slammed when we were there, there’s no reason it should have taken so long or we should have been total ignored for most of our visit.

We ordered a Christmas bûche de Noël and found it to be unacceptable. For $70, the quality was extremely poor and demonstrated a serious lack of competence in French pastry-making. This was a disappointing experience and not worthy of the price charged.

WHAT AN EXPENSIVE DECEPTION!

We ordered a traditional Christmas Bûche and were shocked by the lack of quality. No flavor at all (where was the praliné?), and the cream was overwhelmingly sweet with zero finesse.
This dessert would not pass even the lowest standards in France, any supermarket version would be superior.
I could have done better myself.
With mostly French guests, the disappointment was unanimous.
$70 for this was an absolute rip-off.

Just west of the Palmetto off 36th St, strip mall right before the Shell gas station if you are going East, like the 2nd store, lots of sweets, bread is a bit hard, top croissants and ham bread , excellent service

I honestly don’t know how to describe this visit except to say it was the weirdest taste experience of my life — and I’ve been a foodie for 24 years.

Nothing was even sweet. Everything tasted strangely off, like the flavors were completely mismatched or the ingredients weren’t fresh. The pastries looked beautiful, but the taste was so unusual and unpleasant that we couldn’t finish anything. Even the drinks were strange — not sweet, not rich, just an odd flavor that didn’t make sense at all.

For the price and presentation, I expected much better. Instead, it was honestly the most disappointing café experience I’ve ever had. Definitely not worth it.

Love this place! The croissant is absolutely delicious!

This place is overrated for baked goods. I ordered both the turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich and the ham and Gouda sandwich, but both were disappointing — flat baguettes with bland cheese and ham, and not even a hint of sauce for flavor. Definitely not worth coming back for.
